Purpose of Position :The Registered Nurse plays a key role in ensuring that patient care
is planned, co-ordinated and delivered in a safe and effective manner, and agreed core unit values
are maintained at all times. An eligibility list will be created for future Perm/Temp, Full/Part time and
Casual position across JHCH Wards (J1,J2 H1 and NICU).

Selection Criteria : Ability to work in a heavily computerised environment.

: Ability to work within budgetary restraints.

: Completed Clinical Portfolio complying with AHPRA standards.

: Completed Mandatory training should be included as part of
portfolio.

: Ability to participate in a seven day rotating roster (including public

holidays and school holidays).

: Demonstrated interest in Paediatric Nursing with the ability to work

in a family centered environment, working collaboratively in a multidisiplinary team.

: Substantial recent experience in an acute clinical setting.

Current registration or eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse (List A) with AHPRA.
This position requires a Working With Children Check (WWCC) issued by the Office of the
