Pronoun: Is a word or phrase that substitutes a noun.

Personal pronoun: It refers to the grammatical person. It takes place of a noun or subject. And it is located before the
verb.

Ex: I am an English teacher, She doesn’t have any children.

Object pronoun: It is the object in the sentences. It is located after the verbs or the prepositions.

Ex: I love Lucy and she loves me, Mary wants to talk to him

Possessive Pronouns: are those designating possession. They are used to avoid repeating information. They are located
at the end of the sentences.

This is my cat, not your cat Not this cat is mine, not yours Yes.

Your car is a lot faster that my car Not Your car is a lot faster than mine.

Reflexive pronoun: This pronoun talks about the subject.

Ex: I was hurry, so I washed the car myself.

He wanted to impress her, so he baked a cake himself. She hurts herself.

Possessive Adjective: It refers to the person who owns and not what possessed. It is located before nouns.

Ex: Bill washes his car every day. The Earth is our planet.
