The Earth

 Earth is the only known planet where life exists.

 Its surface area is covered with two-third of water that is why we call it
a blue planet.
 It is slightly flattened at the poles that is why its shape is described as a Geoid. Geoid
means an earth-like shape.
 The Earth is 23½° tilted on its axis.
 It takes 365 days and 5 hours and 45 minutes to revolve around the Sun.
 The Earth rotates along its Axis from West to East.
 Scientists have researched and estimated that our Earth is around 4.5 billion years
old.
 Only 3% of Earth’s water is fresh and 97% of it is salty.
 The surface of Earth is covered by water, around 71%, only 29% of Earth’s surface is
covered by land.
