DISCIPLINARY CASES ON 8TH FEB, 2024

1) DATE: 8TH FEB 2024

CASE: A Form 3 student was molested by three other student s.
Victim: Frederick Buabeng Mawuli Obi (Electricals)
CULPRITS: JONATHAN Mensah ( CBT), Daniel Dimake (CBT) and Buabeng Felix (MVE)
PROCEEDINGS: All three students reported to the committee in the presence of their parents.
The chairperson introduced the case to their parents. Since the victim was hospitalized, two of the
culprits were asked to settle the bill.
SANCTIONS:
1. Three wks external suspension after which students must report on 4th March with a written
apology to be presented at morning assembly.
2. One week internal suspenssion with grounds work
3. Jonathan and Daniel are to share and pay the hospital bill of the victim within by Fri 16th Feb.
4. Signing of bond of good behaviour with parents as witnesses.

2) DATE: 8TH FEB 2024

CASE: A form 3 student w accused of sexual offense.
ACCUSED/CULPRITS:Robert Lari Kofi (MET)
VICTIM (S):
PROCEEDINGS: Student reported to the disciplinary committee accompanied by three adults. He
denied having engaged in any form of sexual misconduct but eventually pleaded guilty.
SANCTIONS:
1. Expelled from the boarding house with immediate effect.
2. Two weeks internal suspension with grounds work.
3. Present a written apology on Monday12th February to the boarding house.
4. Sign a bond of good behavior with the parents.
and HOD as witnesses.
5. Referral for counseling by Chaplain and school counselor.

3) DATE: 8TH FEB, 2024

CASE: Assault on a student in the dormitory leading to clashing between students and police.
ACCUSED/CULPRITS: Mosses Kumi
VICTIM: KelvinNana Sarpong
PROCEEDINGS: Mosses Kumi with other Form 3 students took the law into their own hands as they
assaulted and caused harm to Kelvin Nana Sarpong in the dormitory.
According to the Senior Housmaster, the victim was rushed to the hospital and upon informing the
family, friends and victims of the victim broke into the school premises in rage to attack. This called
for police involvement in order to maintain calm.
SANCTIONS:
1. Expelled from the boarding house with immediate effect.
2. Internal suspension with groundswork commencing 12th February.
3. Signing Bond of good behavior with parents as witness on Monday 12th February.
4. Referral to counselor.

N.B
The housemistress, Madam Cecelia and the Senior Housmaster confirmed that, Moses Kumi has been
involved in series of indiscipline acts such as theft, absenteeism, gang leader etc.
 4) DATE:8TH FEB. 2024
CASE: Assault on a Fm 1 student.
ACCUSED/CULPRITS: Hamzer Lizpoa aka pablo
VICTIM:
PROCEEDINGS: Hamzer presented himself to the committee with her mother. He has been involved in
several cases of misconduct including phone snatching, fighting, loetering and absenteeism.
SANCTIONS:
Student was given Indefinite suspension. However, he can participate in the final exams with Police
escort.

5) DATE:8TH FEB 2024

CASE: Punching of a Form 3 student with ring.
ACCUSED/CULPRIT: Evans Teiko Amarh- Komey ( low key)
VICTIM:
PROCEEDINGS: He came in the company of his father. Evans has been involved in several cases of
misconduct such as fighting with a gang, absenteeism, loetering and stealing money from the business
department.
The recent case involved Keli, another Form 3 student he assaulted leading to him bleeding from
injury.
SANCTIONS:
Student was given Indefinite suspension. However, he can participate in the final exams with Police
escort.
