INTRODUCTION
Memories and meaning around food can be powerful and revealing. They
transport us to moments in our past that brought us great comfort,
warmth, and love. Those memories are easily etched in because food often
activates all of our senses: the sound of oil frying, the smell of spices, the
way dough feels in our hands, the presentation of a finished dish. It
completely changes his demeanour and let’s go a big smile. That is the
power of food. There are people who have made it their call to love their
neighbours through food and use the power of food.

A project on Evolving food tastes in my neighbourhood .The study

comprised a structured questionnaire. In order to study the dietary
patterns of people of different age groups, I visited my immediate
neighbours and asked them several questions bout their diet plan .
The impact of lockdown during covid outbreaks on Dietary habit of
people.
It was observed that Corona virus is something is having a major impact on
the eating and drinking habit of consumers especially as concern about
covid 19 are wide changing and cover both health and financial worries the
people are interviewed seem to be more healthy conscious and concerned
about their immunity to reduce vulnerability two disease and in most of the
people said that eat that day plan to eat and drink healthier went as that step
they would take to lead a Healthy lifestyle. The top 3 answers given to a people
or increase intake of fruits ,reduce sugar intake .
This shows that people were ready to adopt a back basics approaches to nutrition to
nutrition, turning to everyday food and drink products that they deem to be natural
and contain ingredients that offer a nutritional boost. At a particular class of highly
busy working people relies mostly on food delivery apps due to time constraints and
convenience they reported that lack of time was the Major reason having home
cooked, healthy and nutrition food. The effect of their jam-packed lives can been the
mining Obesity rates and shrinking activities level. A lot of working people have lost
their discipline appropriate and no longer stick to the three square made rules
keeping breakfast snacks and several cups of a coffee day are notion that are
grandparents good never have consider.
The attitude of working class towards whose indicated a sea change.
Take away just foods and ready meats have changed the way the
meals are prepared and eaten. Older people have different
nutritional requirements from those of the general population in
particular, they need a lower energy intake, higher protein content to
preserve muscle mass, and a greater supply of vitamins and minerals
to maintain good bone health. Essential micro-nutrients such as
vitamins, minerals, and trace elements, although needed in very
small amounts, play a key role in functional maintenance, growth, and
development throughout the life cycle.
A deficiency or excess of any of these nutrients can cause serious alterations in
the body both at the metabolic and the psychological level .Older people may be
at more risk of suffering this type of alteration, as the aging process can lead to a
greater loss of essential nutrients, such as calcium, zinc iron, B vitamins, vitamin
D, and high-quality biological proteins. It was a group of old people which was
found to extremely heaviest conscious for them breakfast for the main meal of the
day with little foreign and the least for super oldest adults 10 to consume less
energy there in dense sweets and fast food and consume more energy grains
vegetables and fruits..
These temporary changes are caused due to popular trends, like the recent piñata
cake.
. This new cake variety went viral on social media and suddenly every cake
vendor started competing amongst themselves over the prices and quality of this
cake. Other times, a change is seen in food tastes which are longer and more
permanent. This is a generational change. Today I am going to talk about these
evolving food tastes around me.. After an online survey that I conducted, I drew an
interesting conclusion about the different food preferences among different
generations. I asked certain relevant questions to some families in my
neighbourhood and talked to 2-3 different generations. The difference between 2
consecutive generations is also surprisingly very different.
I found out that the first generation is still used to the traditional Indian
dishes and cuisine and look for something standard which is not very
different from what they have been eating since their childhood and are not
. very adventures or keen to try new cuisine whereas the a 3 rd., generation
or the youngsters are looking for exactly that. They love trying new things
and value innovation and the introduction of new trends and varieties.
Fusion items are also very popular among the youth nowadays. The
youngsters nowadays are looking for a cheap and sustained avenue for
good and delicious food, and street food gives them exactly that. Recently
there has been a rise in the popularity of street food and its ever-increasing
demand is wholly fulfilled by the numerous street vendors that have
emerged in the last few years.

“A HEALTHY OUTSIDE STARTS

FROM THE INSIDE”
SUMMARY
With regard to eating habits, more than half of the participants, I felt that a
change in their diet plan was required to boost. The interviews provided a lot of
information about eating habits of people and their changing lifestyle's The
study reveals that the reason why people eat healthy does not only depend on
their knowledge of healthy food but healthy eating is strongly. influenced by the
habits acquired by individuals. Food tastes and preferences keep evolving with
changing times. The next generation has different taste preferences than the
previous generation. These tastes keep evolving because the introduction of
new trends, techniques, and varieties. Sometimes these tastes are different
only for a short while.
