Amendments This standard differs from the July 1980 edition in that: a) minimum values have been specified for dimension k; b) the range of dimension series for pipe joint assemblies has been extended to cover pipes with outside diameters up to 400 mm; ©) tolerances on out-of-roundness have been included; 4) pressure ratings have been changed; 2) marking details have been included: 4) the standard has been editorially revised. Previous editions DIN 8063-06: 1967-07, 1970-08, 1974-12, 1980-07, All dimensions are in milimetres. 1 Scope This standard specifies dimensions for injection-moulded elbows (types W1 and W2) made from unplasti- cized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) for solvent cementing, using a sultable cement, to PVC-U pressure pipes with a standard dimension ratio (SDR) of 21 (pipe series $10) or rated for a pressure of 10 bar (PN 10)'), or with a standard dimension ratio of 13,6 (pipe series S6,3) or rated for a pressure of 16 bar (PN 16)"), as specified in DIN 8082, and mooting the requirements specified in DIN 8083- This standard also specifies dimensions for type W!
