Appointments for Visa Applications

REQUESTING VISA APPOINTMENTS

Visa appointment requests, or any other visa related communication, must be sent exclusively to the
following e-mail: sconsular.islamabad@mne.pt.
Any request sent through other ways will not be answered neither considered.

When requesting a visa appointment, the applicant must proceed as follows:

 Write in the body of the e-mail:
- Name - Passport no. -E-mail address: - Type of visa (find it here) *
(* Appointments for job seeker visas are not available. See more below)
- Detailed and self explanatory information on the purpose of the visa request.

 For national visas, attach supporting documents attesting the purpose of stay:
- Work purposes: Company letter of invitation or work contract
- Study purposes: Letter issued by university and proof of enrollment
- Family reunification: Letter issued by SEF approving the reunification
E-mails without the abovementioned elements will not be answered neither considered.

Due to the high volume of the emails received, the Consular Section of the Embassy of Portugal in
Islamabad may take up to 10 working days to reply.
