Phrasal verbs, are verbs in English that are accompanied by a preposition or a adverb.

In them,
the preposition or adverb can completely change the meaning of the original verb, they are
widely used, especially in oral and colloquial language, often as slang.

Examples:

1. The boss called off the meeting


2. The show must go on.
3. He came up with na umbelievable explanation.
4. Be careful! You almost run into that tree!
5. They called her up.
6. Maria, please stand by Jonh
