DATA ANALYTICS BOOTCAMP: UNLEASHING THE POWER OF

DATA WITH EXCEL, SPSS, AND JAMOVI
Background and Rationale:
With a surge in the demands of the scientific world for time-bound accurate data analysis and
attractive packaging of results, newer software for statistical analysis has emerged. With the
advent of new techniques, it is important to recognize the strengths and challenges of each of
these techniques. In this workshop, the participants will be exposed, in a step-wise manner, to key
techniques of data analysis using Microsoft Excel, SPSS and Jamovi.

Objectives:
To provide hands-on approach towards data analysis combining theoretical presentations,
interactive demonstrations, and practical exercises
To apply descriptive statistics and inferential tests, and graphical representation of data

Outcomes:
Enhance data analysis skills, leading to better decision-making and research capabilities
Efficient management of data, improved quality of public health initiatives, and effective
communication of findings
Ability to combine the strengths of Microsoft Excel, SPSS and Jamovi for statistical analysis
Prerequisite- Laptop with latest Windows or macOS operating systems
