Project Title: Balik-Eskwela: Edu-Kaagapay

Description: Sangguniang Kabataan Educational Cash
Assistance for College Students
Proponent: Sangguniang Kabataan
Beneficiaries: All officially enrolled college students of
Barangay Ito Sur, Cabatuan, Iloilo.

Rationale:

Republic Act 10742 of the “Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015” indicates in section 8, par. (F) of its
implementing rules and regulations, the of Participation on which the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) must
anchored their programs and projects. One of the centers of development is the EQUITABLE ACCESS IN
QUALITY EDUCATION, to support the youth in learning.

According to DepEd Order no. 034-2022 signed by Vice President and Secretary Sara Duterte, the classes will
start on August 22 and will end on July 7,2022. Moreover, the order specifies that starting on November
2,2022, all public and private schools shall have transitioned to 5 days in-person classes. No school shall be
allowed to implement purely distance or blended learning, otherwise the circumstances require.

Objective

1. To provide financial assistance to all officially enrolled students to be able to stay in school to complete
their studies and rise above their beginnings.

2. To give encouragement to the students to study harder despite of the setbacks they encountered
during this trying time.

3. The aid the students with their educational expenses such as transportation costs, daily allowance and
school fees.

Source of Funds: Sangguniang Kabataan Funds

Qualifications:

1. College student in public or private school

2. Bona fide resident of the barangay
Requirements:

1. Registration Form (secured from SK)

2. School RF – 1st semester SY 2022-2023
(Original/certified true copy)
3. Certificate of Residency
4. Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate

Budgetary Requirements: 3,000 per student
