Once upon a time, in a small town, there was a man named John who was known for his

terrible memory. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't remember even the
simplest things. One day, while walking down the street, he bumped into his old
friend Tom.

Tom said, "Hey John, long time no see! How have you been?"

John replied, "Oh, hey! I've been... um... what was the word again? Oh, never mind,
it'll come back to me."

Tom chuckled and said, "Well, John, I have to tell you something exciting. I just
discovered there's a secret treasure hidden in this town. Legend says that the
treasure is amazing, but it's guarded by a mystical talking parrot who asks a
riddle to anyone who wants to find it. If you answer the riddle correctly, you can
claim the treasure."

John's eyes lit up with excitement. "Oh wow, that sounds incredible! I need that
treasure to change my life. Please take me to this parrot!"

Tom agreed and they both set off to find the place where the parrot resided. After
asking around the town, they found the old oak tree where the parrot could be
found.

As they reached the tree, the parrot emerged, squawking, "Who dares disturb my
peace? Answer my riddle if you seek the treasure!"

John's heart raced with anticipation. The parrot asked, "What has a heart that
doesn't beat?"

John's mind went blank. He tried to think, but he couldn't remember anything. He
scratched his head, fidgeted, and finally said, "Hmm, can we have a hint, please?"

The parrot squawked, "Alright, here's a hint: It's a common object found in every
household."

John thought hard for a while, but still couldn't come up with an answer. He turned
to Tom and said, "I'm sorry, Tom. I have no idea what the answer is. My memory
fails me once again."

Just as John was about to give up, Tom's eyes lit up and he exclaimed, "I know,
John! The answer is a kitchen table!"

The parrot nodded and said, "Correct! You have answered my riddle, and now the
treasure is yours to claim."

John and Tom couldn't hold their excitement. They followed the parrot to a secret
door inside the oak tree, which opened up to a room filled with gold, jewels, and
precious artifacts.

John hugged Tom and said, "Thank you so much, my friend! This treasure will change
my life for the better."

Tom replied with a smile, "I'm just glad I could help, John. But, hey, let's not
forget to help you with your memory! How about we use some of this treasure to send
you to the best memory school in the world?"

And so, John's life changed forever. With the help of his friend Tom and a newfound
memory, he went on to achieve great things and became known as the man who never
forgot.
The Moral of the story: Sometimes, having friends who support us and help us
overcome our weaknesses is more valuable than any treasure.
