ISFP

When reading the ISFP profile there are various examples, where it depicts my personal
identity. In the weakness section it states that ISFPs can be easily stressed, using the
description, “when situations get out of control, [ISFPs] shut down,” which is an accurate
description of my tendencies when I get overly stressed. During arguments or poorly timed
conversations I have the tendency to fully cut off what is being said and stop conversing
completely. The ISFP profile also depicts my friendships/relationships accurately, as it states
that there is a “heavy focus on their partner with little interest in indicating their own feelings,”
which ties into my trait of being a willing listener, though being reluctant to share my own
feelings.

When it comes to the possible career paths, there are a lot more inaccurate depictions of
what I desire to do in the future and the preferences that come with it. It states that creative
freedom is clearly prioritized when it comes to profession, which I do not personally prioritize
when it comes to my desired profession. I perceive myself to be a very wealth and success
driven person when it comes to profession, I aspire to go into the health science scene,
additionally to help people along my path. It also says that ISFPs have trouble with making and
planning future career decisions, which I can resonate with as I do tend to struggle with making
major decisions, especially with those that majorly affect my future. Though it also states that,
“[ISFPs] are natural artists” which more so tie into my passion of fashion. I believe if I had the
complete freedom to choose what my future profession is, it would lean towards a creative and
artistic profession whether that would be a fashion critic or designer, though I tend to stray away
from those types of professions because of the lack of financial security they have. Furthermore,
it states that ISFPs are more intrigued by setting up shops on like Etsy than the confines a nine
to five office job. It’s eerie because I have said similar statements like that, wanting to start my
own clothing business where I can create and sell clothing directly from me.
