Bafana Bafana Fun

Thanks for joining in all the fun with supporting our national team in the AFCON tournament. The
winning class was Group 4, with one parent correctly predicting the score, however we are all
winners with the new soccer balls being used every break time from now on. Runners up were the
Grade 3s and the Group 3s. And now we know the names of our team too!

#WeWalk
Staff are participating in a walking/running programme for fitness, and we have decided to take
part in the Spar Women’s Race on 24 March. Any moms or grannies keen to join us, contact me
on colleen.b@curro.co.za

Note that we all have to enter as individuals.

Open Day
Many thanks to all the learners,
parents and staff members who
assisted at our Open Day.
Our children had fun at the
cricket clinic with Coach D, at
the chess matches and robotics
challenges.
And we shall soon have some
more friends joining our school.

Security at Curro Burgundy

As you know we have several security features at
Curro Burgundy, one of which is the fingerprint access
to our buildings. This ensures only parents or
legitimate visitors have access to our campus during
the day.
Please pop in to have your fingerprint registered with
Reception, if you haven’t already done so.

Study Skills Workshop

Our Remedial Specialist, Jacqui Josephson, will conduct a study skills workshop with our
Grade 4s in the afternoon, which will assist in identifying our youngsters’ learning styles and
help them plan strategies for studying.
So, watch this space…
