Please ensure that you have carefully read this confirmation of registration document. It is your responsibility to ensure that all personal and
assessment details are correct. Immediately email study@milpark.ac.za with any errors or admissions.

Formative assessments (assignments/tests):


• 2024 course environments will be available from 15 December 2023.
• Please note that some modules have multiple formative assessments i.e. assignment/s and/or test/s. Ensure that you familiarise
yourself with the required assessment details for each module, as they may differ.Refer to your Assessment Guideline uploaded on
myMilpark/myCourses for information on your assessments (weightings, etc.).
• All assignments must be downloaded from myMilpark. Assignments will be available for download as soon as you have been
successfully registered for the module. Assignments are compulsory.
• If you are required to upload your assignment, ensure it is submitted by 23:59 PM on the due date.
• Refer to your student handbook for further information on how to access and submit your assignment.
• If you are required to complete a test and your venue indicates 'Online', it means that your test must be completed online on myMilpark /
myCourses. These tests will be available for completion for a limited, predetermined period only. The duration of your test is specified
on myMilpark / myCourses.
• If your online test specifies that it is 'Not compulsory', it means that you will still be eligible to write your exam, if the other compulsory
formative assessment requirements have been met. Take note however, that the 'Not compulsory' assessment/s will still contribute
towards your final mark.
• Should you choose not to complete a non compulsory assessment, you will receive a mark of 0.
Summative assessments (examinations):
• You may not write the final summative examination if you have not completed all the required compulsory formative assessments.
• Your ID, Passport or Driver’s licence must be presented when writing any proctored or venue-based assessment, whether online or in-
person. Failure to present one of these forms of identification will result in your assessment being void
• Ensure you are seated 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination.

2024 Registrations:
• 2024 Academic calendar will be available from 30 September 2023.
• Any 2024 registrations processed prior to this date will be subject to change.

trusting and supportive relationship. Therefore, we commit to the following:

• We will not leave you on your own.


• We will respect and support your efforts.
• We will provide constructive feedback.

As a student you have access to Student Support for administrative support and to your programme manager and tutor for academic support. If
you are not happy with the support and service that you are receiving, do not hesitate to contact your programme manager. As a last resort, and
in direct support of the above contract that we enter into when you enroll with us, you can request assistance from senior management at
hellomilpark@milpark.ac.za if you are not satisfied.
