TITLE
This instruction provides the procedures on how to clear the jammed notes and how to
find out/ remove the foreign objects from the device.
PRECAUTION
Don’t allow foreign objects, such as stapler or paper clip enter the inside of the
device. Being in contact with the electric circle may cause electric shock or a fire.
FIRE HAZARDS
There are hot surfaces inside unit, be aware of these areas in operating.

Use the green-labeled parts to operate the module. Open/close the device
carefully and take care not to pinch the fingers during operation,

3-1. Pre-acceptor
1. Raise and hold up the Pre-acceptor tab (No.3, 2 places) with one hand.
2. Pull out the jammed notes from the front entry slot.
3. If the jammed notes are located near the rear of front entry slot and difficult to access,
turn the green knob (No.2) counter-clockwise to move notes from front slot.

- Use the green handle (No.1) to pull up the pre-acceptor until stay bar (No.5) locks at the
highest position.

① Pull up the module handle (No.20) to open the upper module until the gas strut is fully
extended. Make sure the upper module has locked firmly.
② Use the green handle (No.1) to pull up the pre-acceptor until stay bar (No.5) locks at the
highest position.
Caution: If GBRU/GBNA has been set in security enclosure, Pulling up the pre-acceptor
prior to opening the upper module may make pre-acceptor dump against the
security enclosure.

Pieces of torn notes or foreign objects must be completely removed from the following areas.

Standard type
- To close the pre-acceptor, use the green handle (No.1) to lift the unit slightly, push the
stay bar (No.5) to release the stay bar.
- Push down the green handle (No.1) to close the pre-acceptor.
TTW Type
- Hold up the green handle (No.1) slightly, push the stay bar (No.5) to release the stay bar.
- To close the upper module, push up the top module slightly and push forward the gas strut
to release the lever (No.23)

- Use the green handle (No.1) to pull up the pre-acceptor until stay bar (No.5) locks at the
highest position.

① Pull up the module handle (No.20) to open the upper module until the gas strut is fully
extended. Make sure the upper module has locked firmly.
② Use the green handle (No.1) to pull up the pre-acceptor until stay bar (No.5) locks at the
highest position.
Caution: If GBRU/GBNA has been set in security enclosure, Pulling up the pre-acceptor
prior to opening the upper module may make pre-acceptor dump against the
security enclosure.

1. Pull down the panel (No.10) to access the stack area and push with one hand.
Turn stage pusher (No.8) counter-clockwise to move pusher fully up.
Turn stage knob (No.7) clockwise to move stage fully down.
① If notes appear on stage and are accessible, turn knob (No.6) clockwise to move notes out.
② If notes are caught by separator and difficult to access, turn manual knob(No.18)
counter-clockwise to move notes out.
Caution: Don’t draw the notes if notes are caught by separator. Turn the knob until notes
are released.

stay bar (No.5) to release the stay bar.
- Push down the green handle (No.1) to close the pre-acceptor.
TTW Type
- Hold up the green handle (No.1) slightly, push the stay bar (No.5) to release the stay bar.
- To close the upper module, push up the top module slightly and push forward the gas strut
to release the lever (No.23)

- Hold the module handle (No.20) to pull up the upper module until the gas strut is fully
extended. Ensure the upper module has locked firmly.
Caution: Notes can be located in any area listed above, it is recommended that all notes are
removed from the above area before closing top transport.
After opening the top module, check the bottom transport of separator.
If notes are not immediately accessible, turn green knob (No.18) counter-clockwise to move
notes out. When notes are accessible, remove notes carefully from the module.

Pieces of torn notes or foreign objects must be completely removed in the following area.
- Push up the module handle (No.20) slightly, push forward gas strut using the green tab
(No.23) to release the gas strut.
- Firmly push down on top module handle (No.20) until the handle and top module lock into
home position.

1. Hold the plastic sheet (No.9) with one hand and remove the screw (2 places) from cover at
the front of separator. Take care not to crush the plastic sheet.
2. Grip the 2 green levels to pull out the front cover. Take care not to break the brown film
guide.

4. If notes is too tight to be removed from the front side. With top module closed, turn knob
(No.18) clockwise to reverse transport. This action can return notes from pre-BV back into
the separator, where the notes can be removed.
Check the area between transportation guides. Transportation entrance area as well.

1. Close the front cover. Confirm the shaft locks into frame properly.
2. Move the brackets to push against the green lever (right and left side) and screw the
brackets.
3. Insert the two sides of plastic sheet (No.9) into the frame.

- Hold the green handle to pull up the upper module until the gas strut is fully extended.
Make sure the upper module has locked firmly.
Caution: Notes can be located in any area listed above, it is recommended that all notes are
removed from the above area before closing top transport.
2. If notes are pinched between the BV shafts, Turn knob (No.18) clockwise to move notes out,
carefully remove notes from inside the BV. Take care not to draw notes strongly.

To access any notes on upper transport, open the top module first.
Remove the jammed notes from the upper transport.
TITLE
The top module must be opened in order to access the Escrow transport, Escrow and Reject
Reservoir.
1. If the notes are caught by the gates, turn green knob (No.18) clockwise to move notes from
the gates.
2. Pull back the green tab (No.14) to open escrow transport. The escrow and reject reservoir
are behind the transport.

- Hold the module handle (No.20) and pull up the upper module slightly and then push
forward the green tab (No.23) to release the gas strut.
- Push down the upper module firmly until the upper module locks into the home position.
Check the lock condition after closing the top module. Improper lock will cause operation
error.
Caution: Take care not to pinch the fingers when closing top module.

Push the latch (No.15) to pull up the transport cover to appropriately 45°, there can view
the note carrier and escrow stage.
1. The bunch transport containing note carrier and escrow stage is located under the cover.
If the carrier is located over the stage and notes cannot be accessible. Turn the green knob
(No.) forward or backward to move the carrier.
2. When the notes are accessible, carefully remove the notes from the transport area.

Push down on the green part of cover near green label (No.15).Ensure the latch clicks into
home position.

- Hold the green handle to pull up the upper module until the gas strut is fully extended.
make sure the upper module has locked firmly.
Caution: Notes can be located in any area listed above, it is recommended that all notes are
removed from the above area before closing top transport.

3. Release reject transport prior to closing the top transport, it is not locked but should
return back into the home position.

- Hold the module handle (No.20) and pull up the upper module slightly and then push
forward the green tab (No.23) to release the gas strut.
- Push down the upper module firmly until the upper module locks into the home position.
Check the lock condition after closing the top module. Improper lock will cause operation
error.
Caution: Take care not to pinch the fingers when closing top module.

To clear jams located in the cassette transport and fixed reject bin, proceed as follows.
Counterfeit Reject
1. If the notes are caught by gates, turn green knob (No.18) to move notes to accessible
position. Carefully remove the notes from reject bin.

3. If the notes are not immediately accessible, turn green knob (No.18) to move notes through
the transport. Carefully remove any notes from the transport.
- Close the reject bin door, latch the door and replace the seal (If fitted)
- Push down on the green handle near the label (No.22) to close the cover, ensuring it returns
back to home position.

To clear the jammed notes in the cassette transport and reject bin, proceed as follows:
3. Check the entry slot at the back of reject bin and remove the jammed notes carefully.

6. Clear the jammed notes in the transport, if notes are not immediately accessible, turn
green knob (No.18) to move the notes from transport.
7. To clear the jammed notes in cassette transport, refer to Clause 3-3-9-1.Item 5-7.
8. Restore the reject bin to module.

- Push the latch (No.28) and pull out lower module using green handle (No.29)
Note: Do not pull out upper module first, the upper module must remain inside the security
enclosure.

3. If notes are jammed in the gates. Pull up the green handle (No.25) on the lower transport
and use it to lift up the transport.

Note: If notes are jammed in gates, don’t draw the notes by force, otherwise the notes
should be damaged.
Check the areas between the guides. Check the areas between brush and guide.

Rack back the lower module, ensure it is fully home when the latch clicks.
TITLE
Note: Deposit cassette or recycle cassette may be configured. The jam clearance procedures
are the same for two types.
Access Cassette
- Push the latch (No.28) and pull it out using green handle (No.29)
Note: Do not pull out upper module first, the upper module must remain inside the security
enclosure.
- Pull up the green handle (No.25) on the lower transport and use it to lift up the transport.

2. If notes are jammed in the entry of cassette, turn the gear as below to move notes into
cassette.
Note: Take care not to release the stage quickly and prevent fingers pinching between the
stage and cassette.

-Close the lower transport and rack back lower module into security enclosure.

1. Make sure that all sub-modules, cassettes and transports are returned to their home
positions.
2. Push lower module back into the device and lower module latch (No.28) clicks into home
position
3. Using the ATM testing program to ensure the devices is operating properly and clearing
any error messages.
5. Return the ATM to normal mode and then lock the ATM.
TITLE
After clearing the jammed notes around the flat belt, Ensure that the flat belts are located
in the center of the pulleys.
NOTE
Take care not to pinch the fingers when setting the belt
Note: If the belt became detached from the pulley or was caught by the guide. Restore the
belt to the correct position using fingers or rotating the manual knob.

While clearing jam, Take care not to cause damage on plastic sheet and plastic parts such as
gate, guide or cover.
TITLE
After opening the open-close areas for jam-clearance, make sure that all the open-close
parts returned to the home position completely and no damages on these parts.
Note: Screw the stoppers to fix the cover of pre-BV transport after Jam clearing operation.
