The client and the contractor have concluded this contract for the corrective maintenance service of one
malfunction (01) Elevator found in ALLMART SUPERMARKET BUILDING around AYAT Round
about.

ARTICLE 2

Scope of the Work

2.1 Corrective maintenance of a passenger elevator as stated on Article 1, by tracing the whole circuit
lines from/ to machine, shaft electrification, control boards ,car top and other related lines and
correcting all the damaged lines and make tye elevator for operational for proper drive.

ARTICLE 3

Rights And Obligation Of The Contractor

3.1 The contractor shall carry out maintenance service of the client‘s elevator in accordance to the
recommendations made by the manufacturer.

3.2 The contractor shall guarantee the deployment qualified personnel to perform the tasks and assure
quality to acceptable standards.

3.3 The contractor shall notify the client in advance in the name of its maintenance crews assigned for the
maintenance work.

3.4 The contractor shall notify customer on the ongoing service activities as per client request.

3.5 The contractor shall notify the clients if there are damaged parts and request for replacement.

3.6. The contractor will take a maximum of three weeks to complete the works.

ARTICLE 4

Rights And Obligation Of The Client

4.1 The client shall pay the contract amount specified in article 5.1 in 2 (two) installments.

4.2 The client shall provide the contractor all the required spare parts if the contractor discovered a
demanded one.

4.3 The client shall supply lubricants, grease, etc. whenever required on time or the contractor may buy
and supply the lubricants, grease, etc. but the client shall pay additional 10%for the service.
4.5 The client shall create conductive working atmosphere to the technicians of the contractor assigned to
do the maintenance work of the elevator.

4.6 The client shall facilitate unrestricted access to the premises at all time for the inspection and
maintenance of the elevator of designated personnel and equipment of contractor.

4.7 The client shall not allow third parties or unauthorized person to operate, maintain or service the
elevator at any time during this period.

ARTICLE 5

Contract Amount

5.1 The client shall pay sums of before vat for birr _______________

5.2 The client shall pay the contractor in advance Birr ____________________ (Twenty Four Thousand
Birr only) before VAT which is ____% of the contract.

5.3 The client shall pay the contractor Birr ____________________ (Twenty Four Thousand Birr only)
before VAT which is ____% of the contract, upon completion of the work.

ARTICLE 6

Resolution of Disputes

6.1 Any dispute arising out of the interpretation or the execution of this contract shall be governed by a
personal negotiator selected from Both side or in accordance with the laws of Ethiopia.

ARTICLE 7

Effective Date

7.1 This contract agreement shall be valid and have full effect from the date of both parties here have put
their signature and seals hereunder. The parties have signed this contract in Addis Ababa on the day,
month and year written below.
