INTRODUCTION

General Overview of the Business Plan

Food is one of the basic needs of human being and one of the most immediate

requirement for day to day survival. This is why food business is one of the popular

and successful business. The entrepreneurs came up with the idea of starting a food

business because it is an eye catching to the customers due to its demand nowadays.

The entrepreneurs build a small food business named Fun-FRIES-Tea because they

want to earn profit while they are in school and for their products to be known that

intend to satisfy the needs and wants of the customers who will buy the products. The

entrepreneurs also wants to encourage customers to live a healthy lifestyle by offering

them a healthy snacks as their food choice.

There are different business that provide the same goods and services, but Fun-

FRIES-Tea is different from them. The product that the business offers in the market

are affordable and more nutritious that is beneficial to the customers and guarantees

the good quality of the product making it unique and competitive to others. The

company assures that they will provide customers a good quality of service that they

deserve and to feel like they are treated well.

The business will open in between 8:00 in the morning until 4:00 in the afternoon

depending on the demand that will show. The operation of the business will be

Monday to Friday. The preparation of the needed materials and ingredients of the

company's product will be done before the business hours. Each members of the

company will have their owned task in order for the business to operate successfully.

The customers can go directly to the store or through social media specifically

through Facebook if they want to buy the company's product. If 6% of the target

market will buy the product, the company anticipates earning approximately Php2,160

in a day. In a month with 20 days of operation, they can earn Php43,200. Then in the

first year, they anticipates to earn approximately Php518,400 and Php1,555,200 in the

third year.

Company Description

Fun-FRIES-Tea is a small food business that produces and sells mashed camote fries

and drinks like lemon iced tea. It was created in September 2022 by Group 3, Grade

12 ABM learners from Aparri East National High School. The business will be

located around the campus of Aparri East National High School. The entrepreneurs

choose this location for their business because it can give them a high probability for

a business growth and their product will be expose in a wide array of customers since

there are a lot of learners and teachers inside who are always looking for a food to eat.

The business is owned and run by Riziel Lazza, Liezel Joy Limun, Angel Rosette

Aguirre, Mary Macrine Siriban, Joan Furagganan, Camille Angel Oñate, Mia Siriban,

Jessa May Sinamag, Blessie May Sola, and Jeianne Shelly Royce Cutaran, thus

making it a partnership form of business. The entrepreneurs decided to use general

partnership as the form of business organization. General partnership because it is the

most basic form of partnership, where two or more partners get together to manage

and run a business.

Product Features

Fun-FRIES-Tea offers an innovative product in the market and their main product is

Mashed Camote Fries. The business also offers Lemon Iced Tea, a drink that can be

paired with the main product. The mashes camote fries have appearance of long and

thick strips. It is delicious crispy and healthy snack. Mashed Camote Fries do not

offer delicious taste, but they also provide a lot of nutrients or benefits to the

customers. Mashed camote fries is healthy because of its main ingredient which is

camote. Camotes are starchy root vegetables that are rich in fiber, vitamins, and

minerals. They’re also high in antioxidants that protect your body from free radical

damage and chronic disease. Camotes are also rich in beta-carotene and anthocyanin,

antioxidants that may help prevent vision loss and improve eye health

Comparison to the Competitors

The product mashed camote fries is different from Potato fries that everyone knows

and is offered by different competitors. Mashed camote fries are dipped in Mayo-

Ketchup Sauce which is flavoring and gives extra flavor to the product, and that’s

why the company thought about the sauce of the product it’s because they have a

different ingredient to use to make this sauce unique and you can say “FANTASTIC”

because you can’t believe that what they did was so delicious and the crisp that

crushing in your mouth especially when you dip it in the sauce you definitely forget

your name.

The entrepreneurs decided to market the product through the use of social media

platforms and sell it inside the school to reach their target market. The entrepreneurs

will post the product through their personal accounts or group pages on social media

platforms such as Facebook. The entrepreneurs will also sell inside the school,

starting from 8:00 am to 4:00p.m. To ensure that their product is accessible to all

customers, the product will be distributed directly from the producer to the customers,

which are the students and teachers of Aparri East National High School. The

entrepreneurs themselves are qualified to distribute their products.

Future Expansion

In the next five years, The Fun-FRIES-Tea company want to expand their business in

other areas. The company build their own establishments and branches in the entire

Cagayan particularly at Schools or Universities. They also supply the other stores in

wholesale price. And this will be done by simply being strategically innovative and

competitive to different competitors

Current Competition

The direct competitors of the company will be French fries of Jollibee, McDo, and

Milk tea shop around Aparri, which sells French fries at a higher price than Fun-

FRIES- Tea. Sharwarmastic Company is also one of their direct competitors that sells

Chicken Shawarma Fries. Their product is somewhat related to Fun-FRIES-Tea, but

mashed camote is their main ingredient. The indirect competitors of the company will

be Malunggay Potato Croquettes of the Zippy Croquettes Company and Malunggay

Tuna cheese balls of the Yummy bites Company. These food products are more

affordable than the mashed camote fries.

In running a business, there are a lot of challenges along the way that need to be

addressed with attention and concern. They also need to be solved before they get

worse and might cause more complication in the near future. These are a few risks

that the company may encounter along the way.

Uncertain Sales. They assume that sales won’t be very high because they don’t know

how many consumers there will be in the coming days, weeks, and months to make

purchases, However, they see offering free tasting as a way to introduced their

product to consumers.

Lack of experience. They are unfamiliar with the food industry, so it may take them

some time to adjust to this type of setting, even though they never consider it a

possibility. Instead, they seek inspiration and guidance from experts to hone their

management abilities before applying them to their own business.

Lack of available funds. The entrepreneurs are still students that’s why they don’t

have a lot money. They think that they will approach their parents for financial

assistance.

consists of learners and teachers of Aparri East National High School. Based on the

kind of product offered and the fact that the company is new to the market the

Fun-Fries-Tea competes with similar products on the market. They will make sure

that the customers are aware of where their manufacturing materials are coming from

company company is Riziel Lazza and Liezel Joy Limun as the assistant manager,

they are responsible for overall operations. Production team are Angel Rosette

Saguirre, Mia Siriban, and Jeianne Shelly Cutaran, who will handle the production

process from producing materials and ingredients up to finish products and serving it

to the customers. Finance team are Mary Macrine Siriban, Blessie May Sola, and

Camille Angel Oñate, they are responsible for financial functions of the company.

Marketing team are Jessa Sinamag and Joan Furagganan. The entrepreneurs will work

together as one especially if there is a high demand for the product to make sure that

they could satisfy the needs of their customers and provide enough supply of products

for them.

Packaging that is properly designed and crafted can provide customers with

OPERATIONAL PLAN

The Fun-FRIES-Tea company aims to meet the customers’ expectations in order to

earn a lot of income, sell products of high quality, as well as keeping the customers

happy and satisfied with the products offered, and increase revenue and sales growth.

The company goals are to grow their business and have branches in the near future, to

create a name in the market, and to provide good quality, healthy, and affordable

snacks that can satisfy the taste buds and budget of their customers.

Every business has its own schedule, including times for going to the store, opening

the store, selling the products and more. Every firm needs a company timeable since

the company have to adhere to it, and sometimes it can’t because there are so many

customers that want to all the time. According to the company’s timeline, business

owners must visit and clean their perspective area at 6:30 a.m. every morning. The

company will prepare everything they need at 7:30 in the morning. The company will

check if everything is ready. Additionally, the store is open during recess from 9:30 to

9:45 and closes at 11:30. That hat half-day was used to launch the business, Fun-

FRIES-Tea. The operation of the business will taking place at Senior High School

Building A.

The entrepreneurs will work together as a team before releasing of the company’s

product. The Fun-FRIES-Tea company will hold a regular team meeting. They will

discuss the strategy and where they will focus, what they will enhance, and what they

will do to maintain in order to attract new customers, as well as the company’s

regulations.

The manager and assistant manager will continually be on the lookout for methods to

reduce inconvenience, save time and money, and improve sales flow. The production

department is in charge of converting raw materials into finished goods (mashed

camote fries and lemon iced tea). In between production process, the department

works to enhance the productivity of the production or manufacturing line in order to

achieve output targets. It also manages every aspects regarding of purchase of raw

materials and ingredients, as well as product creation. The sales and marketing

The business is owned and run by 10 entrepreneurs, thus making it a partnership form

of the business. Partnership is an unincorporated business structure that two or more

parties form and own together. These parties, called partners, may be individuals,

corporations, other partnerships, or other legal entities.

which are general partnerships, limited partnerships, and limited liability partnerships.

The entrepreneurs decided to use general partnership as the form of the business

organization. General partnership is the most basic form of partnership where two or

more partners get together to manage and run a business. All partners have

independent power to bond to contracts and loans. Each partners also has total

liability, meaning they are personally responsible for all of the business debts and

partnership because it will be lot easier to establish the business of they will divide the
