EXPLANATION

Complete this lab as follows:

1. Start Hyper-V Manager.

a. From the taskbar, select Start.
b. Select All apps.
c. Select Windows Tools.
d. Double-click Hyper-V Manager.
e. Maximize the windows for better viewing.
2. Create a virtual hard disk named Test1.
a. Right-click ITADMIN and then select New > Hard Disk.
b. From the Before You Begin window, select Next.
c. Select VHD and then select Next.
d. Make sure that Fixed size is selected and then select Next.
e. In the Name field, use Test1.vhd as the name for the hard disk.
f. Select Next.
g. For the Size field, use 500 GB and then select Next.
h. Select Finish.
3. Create a virtual hard disk named Test2.
a. Right-click ITADMIN and then select New > Hard Disk.
b. From the Before You Begin window, select Next.
c. Make sure that VHDX is selected and then select Next.
d. Make sure that Dynamically expanding is selected and then select Next.
e. In the Name field, use Test2.vhdx as the name for the hard disk.
f. Select Next.
g. For the Size field, use 4096 GB and then select Next.
h. Select Finish.
