Save the wireless profile on the laptop

EXPLANATION
Complete this lab as follows:

1. Select and install a wireless access point on the Workspace.


a. From the home office view, under Computer Desk, select Hardware.
b. From the Shelf, expand Wireless Access Points.
c. Read the various device descriptions to identify the correct wireless access point.
d. Drag the Wireless Access Point, 802.11b/g/n to the Workspace. For ease of use, place it next to the
existing router.
e. Above the wireless access point, select Back to switch to the Back view of the wireless access point.
2. Provide power to the wireless access point.
a. From the Shelf, expand Cables.
b. Select Power Adapter.
c. From the Selected Component pane:
Drag the DC Power Connector to the port on the wireless access point.
Drag the AC Power Adapter to an open outlet on the surge protector.
3. Connect the wireless access point to the router.
a. Above the router, select Back.
b. From the Shelf, select Cat6a Cable.
c. From the Selected Component pane:
Drag an RJ45 Shielded Connector to the Ethernet port on the back of the wireless access
point.
Drag the other RJ45 Shielded Connector to one of the free LAN ports on the router.
4. Configure the owner's new laptop to connect to the wireless network.
a. On the front of the laptop, click the wireless switch to enable the integrated wireless network
interface. (This will slide the switch to the ON position.)
b. On the Home-Laptop monitor, select Click to view Windows 11.
c. In the notification area of the taskbar, select the network icon.
d. Select the arrow above Available.
e. Select TrendNet-BGN.
f. Select Connect Automatically.
g. Select Connect.
