AURORA

 Aurora is located on the East-Central side of Luzon Island, facing the Philippine Sea, its capital is
Baler.
 Aurora became a sub-province of Quezon in 1951 through Act No. 468 and finally attained
provincehood during the presidency of Ferdinand E. Marcos, by virtue of Batas Pambansa No. 7
enacted on August 13, 1979.
 Aurora Province has a total land area of 323,954 hectares, representing about one percent of the
country's total land area.
 The province of Aurora is politically divided into 8 municipalities, subdivided into 151 barangays.
 Agriculture is the primary industry in Aurora, ora, employing approximately half of the
population.
 The province is also endowed with vast natural resources that could support numerous cottage
industries.
 Aurora also has many poultry and livestock farmers.
 The town of Casiguran produces some of Philippines best tasting virgin coconut distilled wine,
also known as "lambanog".
 Coconut vinegar is also made from "tuba".
 Aurora is a province blessed with an abundance of tourist attractions.

1. Dicasalarin Cove - is a secluded white sand beach where the verdant Sierra Madre
foothills meet the Pacific Ocean. Dark, thickly forested hills contrast with the striking
white shoreline.
2. Ditumabo Mother Falls - is one of the most popular tourist spots in Aurora province. With a
height of more than 150 feet, Ditumabo Falls cascades on a deep and wide pool. Its waters are
icy-cold and crystal-clear and can heal skin illness and colds. Pristine forests with flowering
plants surround Ditumabo Falls.
3. Sabang Beach - is a two-kilometer strip of gray sand facing East over the Pacific Ocean.
Famously known with its frequently strong waves that are massive enough to give life to
people who would like to ride the waves. As such, Sabang Beach of Baler is the
birthplace of surfing in the country.
4. Dinadiawan Beach - Dinadiawan Beach is a picturesque coastal gem located in Aurora
Province, Philippines. With its pristine white sand, clear turquoise waters, and serene
ambiance, the beach offers a tranquil escape for visitors seeking relaxation and natural
beauty.
5. Ampere Beach - Ampere Beach is located in the municipality of Dipaculao, Aurora in the
Philippines. It is a beach where tourists go not for swimming but for its magnificent sight
it has to offer. The beach is known for its smooth rocks of various sizes and colors,
massive waves and breathtaking view of sunrise.
6. Baler Hanging Bridge - The Baler Hanging Bridge is situated along Zabali Road and
connects the barangays of Tibang and Sabang. The bridge is made of wooden planks and
railings that are suspended above a wide river by sturdy metal cables. It measures about a
meter in width and is over a hundred meters long.
7. Museo De Baler - is one of the historical tourist spots in Aurora province. It showcases
the more than 400-year history of Aurora. Different artifacts, pictures, documents, and art
pieces dating back to the Spanish times are displayed in the museum.
8. Baler Catholic Church - The Baler Catholic Church is a historic church constructed from
stone and brick which is found in the town of Baler in the province of Aurora. Originally
constructed in 1611, the church is dedicated to San Luis Obispo de Tolosa and is known
as the site of the Siege of Baler, which took place from 1898-1899 shortly following the
end of the Spanish colonization of the Philippines.

TARLAC
 Tarlac is a landlocked province located in the Central Luzon region in the Philippines.
