I was born with a diaphragmatic hernia. A diaphragmatic hernia is a birth defect in
which there is an abnormal opening in the diaphragm. In 1997, only 1% of the babies
born with the defect were able to survive the condition; shockingly, I was part of the 1%.
After finding out that I had the condition, I had to be shipped to a hospital on the other
side of the state of Rhode Island. So one of my father s friends was a police officer. I was
police escorted across the state, in order to make it in time; I made it in time. At the time,
babies with the condition had to live for 3 days in order to qualify for the surgery. The
first 3 days of my life were some of the most stressful days of my life my parents had to
go through. Right off the bat, the doctors told my parents it was very unlikely that I
would last 3 days. I was a very small baby, only weighing 3 lbs. But by some miracle, I
lived for 3 days and I was able to get the

An examination of the tires on Vehicle 1 revealed the two rear tires to be Goodyear
brand radial tires, 235/75/15 in size. The two front tires were Milestar brand radial
tires, also 235/75/15 in size. The left front, left rear and right rear tires were flat due to
the crash. The right front tire was inflated to 35psi. All the tires were in good
condition with an average tread depth of 7/32 s. The three tires on the vehicle that
were flat, appeared to have the tire seals popped from the collision and did not suffer
from any type of tire failure. Vehicle 1 appeared to have been decent working order. A

As a way of experiencing the Humanities beyond your classroom, computer, and
textbook, you are asked to do a certain type of cultural activity that fits well with our
course and then report on your experience. Your instructor will require you to propose
an activity and get instructor approval before you do it and report on it (students should
look for any instructions in that respect). Every effort should be made to ensure that this
is a hands on experience (not a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Note: Submit your cultural activity choice to the instructor for approval before the
end of Week 5 (earlier is even better). Look for guidance from the instructor for how or
where to make your proposal. You may also seek advice from your instructor (provide
your town/state or zip code) for a good activity in your general area.
Visiting a Museum
It makes sense to approach a museum the way a seasoned traveler approaches visiting a
city for the first time. Find out what there is available to see. In the museum, find out
what sort of exhibitions are currently housed in the museum and start with the exhibits
that interest you.
If there is a travelling exhibition, it s always a good idea to see it while you have the
chance. Then, if you have time, you can look at other things in the museum.
Every effort should be made ahead of time to identify a museum that has items and
works one can easily connect to our HUM 111 class and book. Since HUM 111 covers
from ancient times to the 1500s AD, it makes more sense to focus on items from that
time frame. In general, museums with artistic cultural artifacts and fine arts work better
than history museums.
Any questions about whether a museum visit activity fits the course and assignment well
enough will be decided by the instructor when the student seeks approval for the activity.

Iron Age Celts Research Paper
Iron Age Celts of the 1st Century
Homes:
Brythonic Celts is the name given to the Celts who occupied Britain during the Iron
Age, and they were a people fragmented and separated into several different tribes all
across Britain. Each Tribe had its own king that lead and governed them, as opposed to
being one, single united body.

Tribes of Celts would often protect themselves in cases of battle against enemies in
something known as a Hill Fort, which was, of course, situated on top of a hill they
were defensive settings, as living at the top of the hill gave them the advantage in
battle of seeing their enemies approach and being able to prevent them as they climbed
up the hill. However, it is suspected that these were not permanent accommodations and
may have been used as assembly points for tribes to withstand a short siege, as they
contained no sources of water. The sizes of these Hill Forts would vary; while some
where only capable of containing one or two families, others were able to house many
more. It also depended upon whether they were built to defend themselves from attacking
tribes, or invading the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
We know that their walls were made of Wattle and Daub Interwoven sticks and twigs
that were covered with mud or clay, however they could often include other substances
such as wet soil, clay, sand and animal excrement. This may have been because the
daubed walls kept the heat in and the wind out. The only sources of light or heat came
from a fireplace often placed in the center of the room, and an open door during the
day. The fire would have been used to cook their food, and it can also be assumed that

Reflection About Nigga
People, please do not be confused with the N word (Nigga). See in the hood we spell it
with a at the end of the term instead of er, therefore, nigga is a term of endearment, that
we use in the hood, not to be confused with the derogatory term which is nigger. I am
doing this not so much for you professor, cuz I sure you know the difference right?
However, I am doing this to be politically correct in case anyone else reads this and
takes offense to me using the term nigga in this reflection piece. I just wanted to make
that clarification :)
Anyhow, before I move on to the next pivotal point of my life, there is some other shit
that I forgot to mention, fuck man is already twelve fucking pages...lol! Anyway, I am
fourteen years old, and by this time I was already hanging out big time in the streets and
shit. I had full time Job, working at this factory with my favorite Aunt, as I mentioned to
you guys earlier; she was the last Aunt who stayed behind in the Bronx. I won t mention
the name of the factory for private reasons.
I was making three dollars and thirty five cents an hour. That s right folks you heard
correctly, 3.35 a fucking hour. I did not give a fuck, cuz I was a poor motherfucker living
in the hood broke as hell (no money) and I didn t want to start clocking (selling) crack
(cocaine mixed with baking soda) on the fucking corners. Consequently, it was either
sell some crack, make about four hundred dollars a day, risk my ass going to jail, or
make 3.35 an hour.
