EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This study aimed to develop an Online Ordering and Appointment System of

Camacho Veterinary Clinic. The main purpose of this study was to develop a system that

will manage the appointment needs of the clinic clients and to solve the several queries

online and on calls from the clients about the clinic’s products, prices, and availability.

The front-desk personnel can approve or decline the orders and the doctor can approve

the client’s appointment and scheduling. The proposed system will allow the customers

to view the products and product descriptions. This study focused on the development

of an Online Ordering and Appointment System. The system includes updated list of

products which will be provided by the basic inventory that will focus on showing of

available stocks by the minus of order quantity of products to the stocks of clinic’s

product. The system will also generate client’s appointment details after they booked

their appointment, generate order details of the clients from the online ordering page as

well as their schedule for pick up and calendar. Additionally, this study covers on

improving the appointment system and create an online ordering for the clinic. The

method used to develop was the application of Modified Waterfall Model of the System

Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which includes Planning, Analysis, Design,

Implementation and Operation and Maintenance. The researchers utilized Visual Code,

Sublime Text Code Editor for code editing; while the languages used were PHP, HTML5

and Bootstrap version 5 and XAMPP as our database. The result of the acceptability of

the proposed capstone project entitled Online Ordering and Appointment System of

Camacho Veterinary Clinic in terms of General Criteria as overall result was Very Good.

In terms of General Presentation Criteria, the overall findings were Very Good. In terms

of Specific Technical Criteria for information systems and prototype software systems,

the over-all findings were Very Good.
