Reason: The selected Learning Facilitators (LFs) should possess expertise and experience in the specific subject matter or instructional techniques relevant to the
mentoring program. This ensures that they can provide valuable insights, guidance, and support to mentees based on a foundation of knowledge and practical
experience.
2. Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Reason: Effective communication is crucial for a successful mentoring relationship. LFs should have strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy,
and the ability to provide constructive feedback. Clear and open communication facilitates a positive learning partnership, allowing mentees to feel comfortable
seeking guidance and sharing challenges.
3. Commitment to Professional Growth and Development
Reason: LFs should demonstrate a commitment to their own continuous professional growth and development. This not only sets a positive example for mentees
but also ensures that LFs stay current with best practices and emerging trends in education. A commitment to ongoing learning enhances the quality of guidance
provided to mentees and promotes a culture of continuous improvement within the learning partnership.
