Personal pronouns

Os pronomes pessoais são usados para substituir os nomes e eles dividem -se em sujeito
(quem prática a ação) e objeto( a quem recai a ação).

Hi Silvano! Where are you going to? – Hello Conceição I am going to meet Neumiria in her
house. – Why? Is she sick? – No, Fredy will talk to us. -Ok! Good luck for you.

Subjet: I _you_he_she_it_we_they

Object: Me_you_him_her_it_us_them

Verb “to be”

Past tense: was( i, it, she, he) , were( you, we, they)

Present tense: am, is, are

Future tense: will be, shall be ( I, we)

Exemples :

I am good at everything. But I was not in math last week.

I was not there and you were. They also were.

You will be there on Monday and we shall be there on Tuesday.

Exercise

1. Give five examples using the topic we learned today.

Home work

1. Conjugate the verb to be on all the tenses we learned and give examples using the
object pronouns.
