Consumer Awareness

Students will prepare a project on “Consumer Awareness”.

The project will be done on coloured/white A4 size paper.

Students will include the following in the project:

1. Introduction : They will answer the question “What is consumer, marketplace &
consumption.
Detailed explanation of topic is shared in the classroom.

2. The different Phases of Consumer Awareness can be shown in the form of a diagrammatic
cycle and newspaper clippings with photographs/pictures for Consumers and their rights.

3. Content List for the following topic will be :

• Consumer Protection & Common problems faced by a consumer in Market Place
• Consumer Movement in India
• Consumer Protection Act, 1986

5. General Guidelines

• No of Pages : 20 – 25 pages (with initial pages)
• Read newspaper daily to update and enhance your knowledge
