Note: -
1. Wherever Raw material traceability is not available , check testing is to be carried out at NABL accredited laboratory.
2. If not specified in drawing, minimum fillet size is to be 6mm.
3. If not specified in drawing Single V groove joint to be considered upto 28mm. For size 28mm and above double V joint preparation is to be considered.
4. NO holes to foul at fasteners / weld bead.
5. Match marking is mendatory wherever assebly is to be done at site.
5. At matching flange / other faces skim machining cut is mendatory, respective components thickness must be consider for skim machining cut .
7. Rust preventive is must prior to dispatch on machining surfaces and fasteners.
8. Stress releaving is to be done in closed furnace and charts are to be submitted for client review and records.
9. No mitre joints are allowed. For hand rais and grating bend are to be pre fabricated / Pipe fittings.
10. Machining is to be done in single setting and all the relevant inspections to be done
11. Vendor To ensure that Corrosion protection specification as relavent is given to manufacturer prior to commencement of manufacturing.
12. Drive base frames are to be stress relieved mendatorily as per client approved procedure.
13. Latest edition reference and acceptance standars shall be refered and followed .
14. Vendor to submit all NDT procedures for client review and approval
15. Welding consumables and Paint are to be of approved make only. Batch test certificates for these consumables are to be submited at the time of final inspection.
16. Unless specified all fasteners are to be hot dip galvanized with HDG thickness of 60 to 80 microns .
17. All tests shall be carried out as per BIS or equivalent international standards as per Concession Agreement.
LEGEND:- D* Records identified with tick (p) shall be essentially included by supplier & manufacturer in Quality Documentation package.
** M: Manufacturer / Sub-Supplier, C: Main Supplier, A: Client or their authorized representative.
Use the following term as appropriate in columns 10. , MA- Major, P: Perform, V: verification, RW: Random Witness and H: Customer Hold Point to be witnessed and work shall not proceeded till it is witnessed and cleared in writing.
