Explanation Text about Flood

Flooding is a disaster which commonly happens in large and densely populated cities. In
Indonesia, the floods hit Jakarta very often and cause many victims. Then, do you know the
process of how flood happens? Pay attention to the following explanation.

The process of natural flooding is preceded by rain which falls to the surface of the earth.
Then the rain water is absorbed by the ground surface and flows to the lower place. Once that
condition happens, evaporation and the water appear to the surface of the land. Flooding can
be disastrous for humans when floods happen in an area that people live because the water
carries along objects like houses, bridges, cars, furniture and even people.

On the other hand, the process of non natural flooding is usually caused by bad habits of
humans who do not care about the environment, such as littering that can make water flow
clogged. This makes the water deposited in landfills which gradually becomes more common.
When water reservoirs can no longer hold water discharge, the water then overflows out
theland and cause flooding.

Explanation Text Tsunami

In Indonesia, we are very familiar with the word " Tsunami ". This natural disaster has ever
killed thousands of lives in Banda Aceh a few years ago. Indonesia mourned, the world
mourned. Then, how the Tsunami happens? Here is a brief explanation of the process of how
the Asian tsunami happens.

Tsunamis can occur if there is a phenomenon which causes the displacement of large
amounts of water in the ocean, such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, landslides, and
meteors that fall to Earth. However, 90% of tsunamis is the result of underwater earthquakes.

Vertical movement in the Earth's crust in the bottom of the ocean causes a sudden up or down
movement of sea floor which then causes the water balance disorders above it. This
disturbance causes the occurrence of the flow of the massive sea water energy, that once it
reaches the shore, it becomes huge waves resulting Tsunami.
Explanation Text Global Warming

As we know now, global warming which is happening right now has a very big impact on
natural conditions, animals and humans. Well, do you know how global warming which has a
particularly serious impact on life happens? To know the process of how this phenomenon
occurs, see the following explanation.

The process starts when sunlight shines the earth where most of the heat is absorbed by the
earth and a half of it is reflected back onto the air (atmosphere). Sunshine returning to the air
is trapped by gases in the atmosphere such as carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, methane, water
vapor, and so on. This event is known as the greenhouse effect.

Solar radiation on the earth's atmosphere makes ozone layer get thinner and makes the
sunlight which shines the Earth become hotter. The greenhouse effect also causes the sunlight
which is reflected back onto space is reflected back into the earth. This phenomenon causes
the earth continuously getting hotter. This condition is known as global warming.

How Snow Is Made?

We all agree that the snowfall is always fascinating. In the snowfall, all people stay out of the
house and play with snow. People can make giant snowmen, trample along the snow, or play
snowballs with their families. However, are you curious how snow is made?

Snow is water droplets falling from the clouds. These droplet waters then become solid and
create snow. It happens because rain consists of water vapor particles and being cooled in the
air.

Snow happens when water vapor piled up in the earth’s atmosphere freezes. It happens before
they turn into water droplets. This process occurs when the temperature in the cloud becomes
very frigid.

Snowflakes are created by crystals of ice which have established around a little filth in the
air. They then grow from small forms into the big one. The form of snowflakes are varied.
They can consist of 200 crystal maximum.
How Does Covid-19 Spread?

People in the world are shocked with the emergence of covid-19. This virus becomes a
pandemic which has contaminated people all around the world. What is Covid-19? Covid-19
is a very infectious disease caused by a new kind of coronavirus. Is it dangerous? How can it
spread to humans?

Firstly, the virus is supposed to spread primarily from person-to-person. These viruses can
spread between persons who are in contact approximately in about 6 feets.

Secondly, covid-19 can also range via respiratory dewdrops produced while an infected
person coughs or sneezes. These drops can land in the noses or mouths of persons who are
nearby. Or they can feasibly be inhaled to the lungs.

Thirdly, it is spread by any human interaction with infected objects or surfaces. It may be
likely that a person can catch up COVID-19 by touching objects devouring the virus. Then
they drop the virus to their own nose, mouth, or eyes.

How easily a virus blowout from person-to-person can vary. These viruses are highly
spreadable. Therefore, we have to be alert and keep following health protocol.

How Plane Can Fly?

Now, almost everyday we see planes are flying above. Inside, there are hundreds of people
sitting, walking, even running. Have you ever wondered why such a heavy metal object can
float so freely in the air? How can the airplanes fly like birds?

Do you know that airplanes can generate energy? That is why this object can fly, because of
the force. Such a force, scientifically called as Lift, can move an airplane upward. How
come?

There are mainly four forces which contribute to fly an airplane. They are Weight, Thrust,
Drag and Lift. How do those work? First, to move an airplane forward, the Thrust created by
the engines must be greater than the force produced by the air resistance called as Drag.

Second, to move the airplane upward, it needs enough forward motion. The airplane can only
fly if the force of Lift is much greater than in Weight. This process can push an airplane to
fly.
How a Tsunami Happens?

General Statement

We all know that tsunamis are a series of destructive waves and powerful. Tsunami is the
deadliest wave because the wave speed is incredibly fast. But do you know how a tsunami
can happens?

Explanation

Tsunami originated from Japan, “tsu” meaning harbor and “nami” meaning wave. They are
normally caused by landslides, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions in, or close to an ocean. After
some sort of underwater disturbance, this causes energy to rise up to sea level pushing the
water high into the air. Gravity kicks in and pulls it down again and then consequently
causing the water to filter out into many different directions.

When a tsunami begins to approach the shore the energy in the wave is compressed. As a
result, the water is pushed up into the wave, resulting in a powerful tsunami. If the trough hits
the shoreline first, it then causes the tide to drastically retreat.

Conclusion

So, tsunamis happen because of natural disasters such as earthquakes or volcanic eruptions.
People who live near the shoreline have to be careful because they are threatened by tsunamis
whenever there is an earthquake.

Why Eiffel Tower Was Built

If we talk about the Wonders of the World buildings, then we will see Eiffel Tower as one of
them. However many of us do not know the tower’s past history on why it was build.
Everything has the reasonable background, especially for the tower which is to be one of the
most recognized buildings in the world.

Primarily, the Eiffel Tower was built for the World Exhibition. It was called Paris Exposition
in 1889. The exhibition was organized to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the French
Revolution. The purpose of building Eiffel Tower in such structure was to show to the world
France’s advancement of technology and beauty. The Eiffel Tower was designed by Gustave
Eiffel. It seemed that then the name of the tower was derived from the designer’s last name,
“Eiffel”.

Another reason on why the tower was built was for scientific progress. Although few realized
it, the Eiffel Tower would become the prominent structure in terms of science and
technology. Many experiment with temperature, pressure and pendulums were performed
atop the unique famous building. Additionally the Eiffel Tower was used for radio
transmission tower. Many experiments were conducted atop the Eiffel Tower for radio
transmission advancement. Once the Eiffel Tower was proposed to be demolished but it was
spared because the tower had the promising future as a radio tower.
Mammatus Clouds

Mammatus comes from the Latin mamma which translates to “udder” or “breast”. Their
striking appearance is most visible when the sun is low in the sky and their pouches are
framed by the sunlight. This supplementary feature is a firm favourite with many
meteorologists as well as cloud and photography enthusiasts.

Mammatus clouds are some of the most unusual and distinctive clouds formations with a
series of bulges or pouches emerging from the base of a cloud. The shape of mammatus
formations can vary widely; from the classic protruding shape, to a more elongated tube
hanging from the cloud above.

Mammatus clouds are usually formed in association with large cumulonimbus clouds.
Typically, turbulence within the cumulonimbus cloud will cause mammatus to form,
especially on the underside of the projecting anvil as it rapidly descends to lower levels. This
reverses the usual cloud-forming process of upward growth, making for an uneven cloud
base.

Mammatus often forms in association with Cumulonimbus clouds, which in turn bring
thunderstorms due to their huge mass of unstable air. Mammatus cloud generally form in the
most unstable cumulonimbus, meaning that there is also a chance of hail, heavy rain and
lightning in the vicinity, and if the air is cold enough during winter they can produce snow.
Sometimes mammatus may form on other cloud types which produce no rain, though this is
far less common.

Mammatus usually form on the base of a cumulonimbus anvil, but they have also been
sighted to form on other cloud types, such as stratocumulus, altostratus and altocumulus.
Mammatus have also been observed to form on the underside of volcanic ash clouds.

How Corruption Occur

Corruption usually occurs because some individuals are willing to use illicit means to
maximize personal or corporate profit. How does corruption happen? Does corruption happen
slowly, or all at once?

When we hear the word corruption, we immediately think about political issues. But have
you ever thought that actually people have often practiced culture of corruption from an early
age. For example, we know the term “rubber clock” which is always not on time to make an
appointment. This is an example of small corruption that we are not aware of. So don’t be
surprised if there will be a lot of corruptors – who are very troubling

Furthermore, exam cheating is also a form of corruption. Cheating is a common thing done
by students. Indeed cheating can give us a high value, but it will reduce us ourselves, by
cheating we certainly cannot get that knowledge purely. If this is often done, the cheating
action is carried out when an adult student.

As an adult, he has a position in the government, in politics, and in a BUMN (state-owned

enterprise). Finally, the person concerned likes to hang out, cheat or outsmart the budget to
look for additional income.
