B. Topic/Discussion  Have a short discussion about Practicing Occupational
Health and Safety Procedures.
 Ask the students if they know about Hazard and Risk.
 Present a picture of signage that shows hazards.
a. Activity  Group Activity

Risk Assessment Game


 Divide students into groups and provide them with
different workplace scenarios. Ask them to identify the
hazards and risks and determine the risk level of each
scenario.
b. Analysis What is OHS?
c. Abstraction Occupational safety and health are identified as the discipline
dealing with the prevention of work-related injuries and diseases
as well as the protection and promotion of the health of workers.
It aims at the improvement of working conditions and
environment

sanitization.
 The teacher will ask the student if they know how to
properly clean the tools and equipment.
 Present a video that shows proper sterilizing and
sanitizing tools

Directions: Identify the picture if it is sterilization or sanitization.

b. Analysis What is the difference between sterilization and sanitization?


c. Abstraction Sterilization is the process of destroying all living micro-
organisms. While sanitization is the process of destroying some
not all micro-organisms.

The students will be divided into three groups, and they will
arrange the steps in proper sterilizing and sanitizing from start to
finish.

f. Analysis What is the difference between nail structure and nail shape?
g. Abstraction The root, nail bed, nail plate, eponychium, paronychium, and
hyponychium are the six structural components of the nail. Each
of these six parts serves a certain purpose, and if one of these
parts of the nail structure is damaged, the nail may appear
strange. Additionally, the forms of your fingernails should match
the nails.
