    PERSONALITIES
    › Drama Queens/Kings look to be the center of attention and to
    elicit disruptive reactions in others. Managing Drama
    Queens/Kings requires using fact-based communication and
    Redirection. Practice this fact-based script that encourages
    Drama Queens/Kings towards self-sufficiency and avoids giving
    them the attention they want. Be empathic but protect against
    getting caught up in the drama.

    › I hear that you feel _______, but I need to know the facts about
    what happened.

    › I’m not sure that makes sense to me, but I’m listening.

    › I have 5 minutes to listen, and then I need to move on.


    (Avoid reacting to emotions, using anger, or harsh criticism)
