Center Membership drive for anyone 55 years of age and Painting of Glasgow. We hear it was a pretty tasty meal —
older this past Wednesday at noon. A $5 membership the halibut was reeled in by the Morehouses themselves!

Politico: Rosendale Dropping Out Of Montana Senate Race

According to Politico, Montana
Congressman Matt Rosendale (R-
MT02) is DROPPING OUT of
the US Senate race. Rosendale just
announced that he was running for
the US Senate on Friday, and then
just hours later President Trump
endorsed Navy SEAL veteran Tim
Sheehy.
The question now is- will
Rosendale run for re-election in the
US House of Representatives, or is
he done with Congress altogether?
From the Politico report, here’s
what Rosendale said in a prepared
statement:

primary and the general election.

Attack Ads Against Him?
I pointed out how the Democrats and their dark
money outfits are already spending $1 million a week
against him, but how the effort may also be backfiring
against the Democrats. The Democrats are afraid to
have Sheehy be the candidate in November, so they are
trying to knock him out before the primary, but instead
they are likely rallying GOP voters behind Sheehy even
more.
Tim Sheehy: Truth is- I fought for my country,
wounded on the field of battle. My wife fought for our
country. After I was wounded at discharge, we came
home, started our businesses from scratch with an all
veteran founding team. Everything on the line on those
businesses- businesses that protect our community.
Aerial firefighting. I fly our water bombers. It’s a
dangerous job. We put out wildfires protecting farms,
ranches, savings lives...I’m proud of that. I’m never
gonna apologize for the fact that I’ve built a successful
business in our state, created jobs, created veterans jobs.
And you know, these aren’t dating apps and yoga pants-
these are important jobs that protect our country.

Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen
joined state and local election officials in attending
the biennial Election Administrator Certification
training event in Helena this month.
The Secretary of State’s Elections & Voter
Services Division hosted the training, which
included presentations from state and local election
officials covering a variety of topics in preparation
for the 2024 election cycle. The training is required
for all county election administrators in Montana.
“I’m grateful to our state and local election
officials for the work they do each day to provide
safe, secure, transparent, and accessible elections
for all Montanans,” said Secretary Jacobsen.

Office and county election officials included
discussions about voter registration, candidate
filing, election judge recruitment and training,
assisting voters with disabilities, and much more.
The Secretary of State’s Office also highlighted
the importance and significance of security, both
physical security and cybersecurity, as it pertains
to elections. County election officials discussed
best practices related to Election Day preparation,
polling places, chain of custody, and the canvass
and post-election audit procedures.

Office for conducting this excellent certification
and training event,” said Secretary Jacobsen, “and
I’m appreciative of the county election officials
for attending, participating, and continuing their
training on behalf of our Montana voters.”
Montana’s candidate filing period began
on Thursday, January 11 and closes at 5 p.m. on
Monday, March 11. As of Wednesday morning,
more than 260 candidate filings had been processed
by the Secretary of State’s Office.
Montana’s Primary Election will be held on
Tuesday, June 4, while the General Election is set
for Tuesday, November 5.
Football begins in Glasgow

Did it ever cross your mind when football
started in Glasgow? Well, if you are curious enough
I’ll tell you. Glasgow started football back in 1922, so
the 2022 season marked 100 years of football in the
Bonnie City.
Back in those times Hinsdale, Saco, Nashua,
Opheim all had programs. Malta also started its
first season of football. Glasgow’s home games were
played on the baseball field. Glasgow also played
behind the rodeo grounds at the fairgrounds and had
a field behind the old school where the new bank is
located.
Glasgow’s first game was played in Saco. The
game was played Friday afternoon on Oct. 6. Glasgow
journeyed to Saco by automobile where the came
started at 3:30 p.m.
Glasgow easily won the game 58-0. The Glasgow
11 took the ball on the Saco 40 yard line after returning Make a

Let’s talk shop...

Well, it’s Presidents Day on Monday, February 19th.
In past years it has given us an excuse for a three day
weekend here at BS Central, but not this time around.
While there will be no BS Buzz Monday, we will be
open.
The reason for no Buzz— Sanchez, Rachel and I
will be frantically working on the Eastern C Divisional
Basketball Tournament booklet as Glasgow Athletic
Director Brenner Flaten landed us the job to git ’er done.
Back in the day, it used to be easier to get a divisional
basketball tournament done because both the boys and
girls tourneys weren’t lumped together and would start
on Thursdays. But nowadays, we have to wait until the
smoke clears on a blazing Saturday night to see which
teams advance to Divisional and the action kicks off on
Wednesday, meaning we have to have books printed,
folded, stapled and trimmed by Wednesday morning.
(A hot dish would be appreciated, at least on
Tuesday, Mom, hint, hint....)
But Rachel has ads sold, and we thank the businesses’
response on that. Now we just wait and see who advances,
we hope that hotels are filled, Glasgow rolls out the red
carpet, businesses make some bucks, and here’s for a super-
exciting tournament where the games really get tighter
with all the teams hoping for a shot at making State.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Biden lashed out at
critics who questioned his cognitive ability Thursday,
telling reporters at the White House that he can’t
remember a single time when his memory failed him.
“Don’t you think I would know if I were having
memory problems?” the president asked. “I’m as sharp
as a tack, Jack. I’ve got no cognitive issues whatsoever.
My memory is as perfect as it was back in 2024 when I
was president.”
“Also, don’t you think I’d know if I were having
memory problems? People with memory problems mix
up names, dates, and places,” he noted. “They wander
around aimlessly all day with clueless looks on their
faces. I even heard of one extreme case where a guy
confused Egypt with Mexico. Now, THAT’S a person
you should be talking to about memory problems!”
The president then raised his hand to ask a
question, seemingly unaware that he was leading the
press conference. Shortly thereafter, a reporter asked
Biden to comment on his portrayal as a “sympathetic,
well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory” in last
week’s special counsel report.
“Look, I don’t know that guy, so I’m not going to
speculate on what was said in the report,” Biden noted.
“What I will say is this: Our country is at a critical
crosswalk. If you have trouble figuring out whether
you’re for me or Donald Rumsfeld, well, then you ain’t
black. So please, when you drive into that voting booth
in November of 2020, vote for Joe Biden.”
