Student Centered Learning (Why, How, What and Where)

REACTION PAPER

The Student Centered Learning is Focusing on Students Choice. As I've seen from the video, the
Professors use this technique to improve student's personal way of interpreting knowledge and
explore different way of gaining knowledge. It's another way of engaging students to their peers
by having cooperation and sharing ideas.
In the New Generation of students, It is a must to have a free-diverse education in which they can
freely interpret their own way of sharing and aiming knowledge. Teenagers are the most common
curious in different way of learning. The Student Centered Learning helps the generation to Create
an Independent Responsible Learners that are capable to discuss anything by their own research.
by that, students has a free will to portray what understanding is when speaking in public, also has
a will to Open and share their ideas through debates that helps the students and co-peers to promote
Good Communication Skills.
Students has their "Own Pace" to conduct certain studies on their own. It is a Good Instructional
Approach that professors give to students because it help the students to understand the real context
of Self thought knowledge that will help to enhance their thinking skills.
In the field of Student Centered Learning, students are only facilitated by teachers in their
assignments and projects. Good thing is that, the student are allowed to explore their interests and
ideas. Students has a voice of their choice in a way that teacher helps the students by giving choices
and advices.
A good way of Teacher- Student Partnership is by giving a Big Ideas to student, keep on rooving
in the class to inform students in a friendly way, and allowing students to discover the details of
Big ideas on their own. therefore, students can reflect from their ideas and afterwards they will
know how to assess their way of thinking. By that, If the students has the ability to know and to
learn from their own, the teacher will know how good and persistent the students will perform in
the real life.
