What are anti-dumping policies?

Encouraging members to strengthen the regulations governing the imposition of


antidumping duties, if a company exports a product at a price lower than the price it
normally charges on it is own home market, it is said to be dumping the product.

What is an agriculture? And what are the most important restrictions set by the World Trade
Organization about it?

Agriculture is the broad term for everything that goes into growing crops and raising
animals, to provide food and materials that people can use and enjoy.

The WTO agriculture agreement provides a framework for long-term reform of agricultural
trade and domestic policies, with the aim of leading to fairer competition and a less
distorted sector.

What is infant industry?

The infant industry theory states that new industries in developing countries need
protection against competitive pressures until they mature and develop economies of scale
that can rival their competitors.
