Anti-Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

1. Definition of Modern Slavery

1.1 Modern Slavery pertains to any criminal activity that deprives victims of their
liberty, usually for the purpose of financial gain or exploitation. (i.e. slavery,
forced labour, servitude, and human trafficking)

1.2 Tanika (Philippines) Corporation (the Company) conducts its business fairly,
ethically and with respect to fundamental human rights. The Company is
committed to the prevention of all forms of modern slavery and human
trafficking, both in our business and in our supply chains, which will not be
tolerated in any form.

1.3 Any party dealing with the Company must read and comply with this policy if
you work for, or on behalf of the Company in any capacity including but not
limited to as: an employee, director, officer, worker, consultant, volunteer,
supplier or service provider.

1.4 Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action, including
dismissal, or termination of employment or contract between the erring party
and the Company, as well as any potential legal action the violating party could
face, both locally and internationally.

1.5 If you are an employee, this policy does not form part of your employment
contract, and we may update it at any time.

2. Preventing Modern Slavery in the Company

2.1 The Company carries out appropriate checks and due diligence on all employees,
recruitment agencies and suppliers, so that the Company knows who is working
for it or on its behalf.

2.2 The Company gives every employee a written employment contract, and he or
she is paid in accordance with the law. The Company complies with its legal
obligations to ensure the health and safety of all of our employees and workers,
including working hours, leaves, rest breaks and holidays.

2.3 All employees are required to sign a copy of this policy to show they have read
and understood it. Managers and Supervisors shall be given a copy of this policy
to familiarize themselves with it.

3. Third-parties dealing with the Company

3.1 Third parties dealing with the Company, whether by providing goods or services,
must likewise confirm to the Company that their business and supply chains
that:
● They comply with their legal obligations, in relation to the Policy against
Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking;
● They respect and observe fundamental human rights; and

● Are committed to ensuring there is no Modern Slavery or Human Trafficking


taking place in their business, or in any of their supply chains.

3.2 If you have breached this policy, or is/are found to have committed Modern
Slavery and/or Human Trafficking in your business, or knowingly in your supply
chain, we may terminate our contract with you and pursue legal remedies
against you.

4. Employees or a Workers providing services for the Company

4.1 Any employee of the Company must immediately report any suspicions of
Modern Slavery or Human Trafficking in the business or supply chains to such
designated point person. The designated point person will investigate and report
to the Management of the Company within a reasonable time, on actions which
may require to be taken.

4.2 Any employee will not suffer any detrimental treatment as a result of reporting
any genuine concerns, raised in good faith, under this policy. This applies, even if
after investigation, they are found to be mistaken. If the employee believes that
he or she has suffered any such treatment, he or she should immediately inform
the designated point person.
