ARE YOU A BODY WITH A MIND OR A MIND WITH A BODY?

(Reaction Paper)
It is believed that the mind and body are two distinct entities with unique properties.
There are others who contend that each has distinct qualities and may exist without the
other. I believe that although they are distinct in certain ways, the mind and body are
derived from one another. Codependence between the body and intellect exists and
each is necessary for decision-making, while the body needs the mind to make
decisions for it. The mind relies on the body to learn from experience and form accurate
judgments they wouldn't be able to make. In my opinion, without either one or the other.
Together, the body and mind coexist and benefit from one another by utilizing each
other's characteristics. Many contend that dying as a human is not truly dying.
The body and the mind are two distinct and independent parts. Descartes states that he
is aware of his head, hands, feet, and other bodily parts. When Descartes becomes
aware of other experiences like hunger, thirst, and emotions of joy and rage, along with
these feelings or sensations, he is able to describe his bodily existence in more detail.
All humans are unique in their feelings and senses, as well as in how they are
perceived. Unrestricted human body functions frequently take place. Relationships
established with his body alone are unique emotions with no connections to other
people. The body exhibits symptoms like stomach twitches or a dry throat that cause
acts that can only be explained by nature. Together, the body (form) and the mind
(matter) create the senses and emotions that come from the body and provide a
reaction on how to respond. The essential growth of the human being involves the mind
greatly. These are the bodies that make up our civilization; they are all distinct
individuals, because each plays a distinct role in the body while having an impact on the
other, the body and mind can be distinguished as two distinct entities.
People can grasp the connection between the body and mind using a criterion that
exists between the mind and the body. The body criteria assert that physical
characteristics define a person's personal identity, whereas the mind criteria assert that
true personal identities are ingrained in a person's mind. A desk cannot be felt, and
flowers cannot be smelled. In order to later base a judgment or choice on prior
knowledge, needs the body to relate those results. Later, the mind can draw on its prior
experiences and knowledge to create decisions that are appropriate for the situation.
Since the part of our brain that controls our body is subconscious to us but nonetheless
exists, I think we are both a body and a mind. Since our conscious mind can only
perceive an image of our brain, it is erroneous to assume that anything outside of that
realm does not exist. Although a mind can exist independently, but requires a body with
appropriate parts, including the sense of organs, in order to function.
