Paint the toilet roll and let it dry. Colour the beak, wings and tail. Cut them out.

Make the head - cut out the long strip and fold it along the dotted line. Cut a fringe. Unfold it and roll it into a bow-tie. Tie it in the middle and leave a long length of thread.

Fold the beak Poke holes in the toilet along the dotted roll. One in front for line. Cross the the head string, two in flaps at the back and the back for balance strings glue them together. and two below for the legs.

Cut anstring inside the roll. other that will be the neck. Tie the two sticks together in the shape of a T. Tie the back strings and the head string to the T sticks.

Thread through the holes and knot in the roll. Stick on the wings and tail. Glue (or tie) the head to the neck string.

Cut out the win gs and fold them around the body . Use the glue gu n to secure the win gs under the body towards the fr ont.

Tie the two large sticks in a X shape to make the mobile. Tie the dragonfly strings to them so they dangle down

Cone lanterns Need to be glued into cones, then knot a thread into a loop and pull it through

Square lanterns Cut out, colour, fold and glue, then pierce two holes and tie the string

slotted lanterns These need to be cut out then folded in half before cutting the slits. They can then be glued around painted toilet rolls before you string them up
