WORDPAD
wordpad is an useful word processing programme which allows us to
create a new document as well as edit ,format,print etc it.it is also
support reading and writing rich text file(.Rtf).

HOW TO OPEN WORDPAD

i. Click on start-Programme-Accessories-click on WORDPAD
ii. Click on start –Run- WORDPAD

File menu-
New-it is used to create a new tedt file and also to remove the
currently loaded file from the memory
I. click on file menu
II. click on New
III. Now we have a blank screen were will be right desired text or
information
Open- it is used to open any exiting from specific location
I. Click on file menu
II. Click on open
III. in the appeared dialogue box specific the location where
file is stored in open box.
IV. form the displayed file list select the desired file list select
the desired file or type the file name in file name box.

SEND-With the help of this command we can send the

message to another user or computer. That means if we
have internet connection or fax connection than we can
send our file through internet fax.
EDIT or Home
CUT,COPY ,UNDO,PASTE,PASTE
SPECIAL,FIND,FIND NEXT,CLEAR ,SELECT ALL,

Paste special-with the help of this command we can paste the text as
well as object it give us option to paste the text either formatted text or
unformatted text.
1.open or create a file
2.selecte the text and formatted
3.click on edit menu
4.click on paste special
5.In the displayed option list select the desired opton like as formatted
text and unformatted text like as etc.

Linc-:it is used to made any edition in to licked source file which can
be lincked using insert /object/create from file command

Object property-:it is used to display the property of inserted object can

be inserted using insert/object/create

Object-:it is used to give us option to made any changing in to the

inserted object which can be insert using insert/object/create a new
command.
VIEW MENU
Format bar-:it is used to on or off that means displays or hide the
formattbar whose contains the format option like as font
name,size,color,style.etc

Ruler-:it is used to on or off that means displays or hide the ruler line
which is used to adjust the text to the proper position on the page.

Wordwrap-wrap to ruler or wrap to window and no wrap according to

need.

Date & time-:it is used to insert current date and time of system in
selected format of date at current cursor position in active file.
1.open or create a file
2.place the cursor where we want to insert date and time
3.click on insert menu
4.click on date or time

5.in the appeared format of date and time select the desired format of
date form the list.
6.click on ok

Insert object-:it is used to create a new object in any application like as

Ms paint,photoshop,excel as well as existed file.
