VA-VCD: Square Volume Control Dampers are designed for

use for controlling / balancing air through ducts. The blades are
adjusted with robust, hand operated, lockable quadrant or supplied
with optional extended spindle suitable for motor operation.

VA-RD: Round Dampers are used control to control / balance

air in round ducts. Round dampers are ideal in simple installations
for regulating the air volume in circular ducts. The blade is adjusted
with robust, hand operated, lockable quadrant or supplied with
optional extended spindle suitable for motor operation.

Housing: Galvanized Steel Sheet normally 24 / 22 Gauge.

Higher gauges will be provided as required.
Blade: Single Blade fabricated with Galvanized Steel Sheet

VA-BD: Backdraft dampers are used in ventilation systems

to allow airflow in one direction and prevent airflow in the opposite
direction. A pressure relief damper is developed with an elevated and
adjustable start-open pressure while providing the backdraft
function. Backdraft dampers are operated by gravity (where pressure
or velocity opens and closes the damper). Overlapping blades
provides less leakage.

VA-FD: Fire dampers provide an automatic means of

localising areas of fire in ventilation systems. The VA-FD fire
dampers are suitable for installation in walls and ceilings made from
concrete or brickwork. Fire dampers prevent individual rooms or
zones by sealing of any supply or extract air and will stop the spread
of fire through duct, walls or floors.

There is a wide choice of sizes available suitable for low, medium and
high velocity applications. The dampers are fitted with standard
release 72°C fusible links unless otherwise specified.

VA-D: The VA-D100 & VA-D200 Series Diffusers are designed

and built specifically for applications requiring a supply / return air
diffuser. Normally used in commercial installations requiring an air
change rate up to about 10 times per hour, HVC louvre faced ceiling
diffusers are especially suitable where people are working for long
periods of time, and draughts need to be avoided.

The VA-D Series diffusers provides an excellent way

horizontal ceiling pattern effective for cooling applications,
while the warm room air is returned through the center of the
diffuser face to either the ceiling plenum or duct connected to
the return or exhaust system. VA-D 100
FEATURES:

Frame: The Frame & Core are made of high quality

extruded Aluminum Profile with advantages of
corrosion resistance and regidity.
Core: Louvered type core is fixed to the frame with
aluminium pins loaded with steel springs. Core can
be easily removable and interchangeable to allow
for maximum flexibility in installation,
maintenance and damper adjustment.
Damper:: G.I. or Aluminum Dampers are used as option.
Opposed blade damper is screw operated from the
face opening of the diffuser after removing the VA-D 200
internal core.
Patterns: VA-D Diffusers are available in a variety of air
discharge patterns i.e. One-Way, Two-Way, Three-
Way, Four-Way as per installation location

Air Grilles and Registers are recommended for application in
systems requiring optimum flexibility of pattern change to VA-G 100

VA-LSD Diffusers are fabricated of high-quality aluminum

extrusions and are available in satin anodized (standard) or white
paint finish. The pattern controller is coated matte black to accent the
slot opening. Components are mechanically interlocked and bolted
together for a smooth appearance. Alignment tabs and splice plates
facilitate hairline butting of 6’ sections to form continuous lengths.
Volume dampers (2’ long) are positioned in each slot and are VA-LSD Seires
accessible through the slot opening. They may be used to equalize
flow along the diffuser or to internally blank-off sections in
continuous lengths. 90° mitered corner sections are furnished in one
piece. Concealed hanger brackets fit in a hemmed duct collar or in a
No. 2, 3, or 4 frame to positively hold the diffuser in ceiling and

sidewall installations. The pattern controller is shortened to clear the
mounting brackets located on the ends of the diffuser. A non-visible
joint on the pattern controller is adjustable to form a continuous one-
piece appearance. Slot diffusers used for return or exhaust air are
identical to supply sections except the pattern controller is removed
to increase air capacity.

protect against rain water and have Aluminum wire mesh at back side

VA-D: The VA-PD Series Perforated ceiling Diffusers are

recommended for heating, ventilating and cooling applications
in both constant and variable volume systems. The removable
hinged perforated face blends with any ceiling.

The key to the VA-PD diffuser lies in its four individual louver
modules, which are removable and can be easily rotated in
various directions to provide a multitude of pattern
arrangements. The diffusers can be easily set in the field
because the modules are adjustable without the use of tools.
