A. INFORMAL LETTERS
Practice 1:

You received an email from your American friend, Thomas. He asked you for some
information about your country’s most typical dish.

Read this part of his email below.

I’m giving a class presentation about food from some countries around the world. I think I will
introduce a special dish from your country. What is the most common dish in your country? Can
you tell me about its ingredients, its taste, when you eat it, and how important it is to your people
and your culture?
