    V. Rationale:

    One of the missions of the Department of Education is to protect and promote the right of every
    Filipino to quality, equitable, culture-based and complete basic education where the students learn in a
    child-friendly, gender sensitive, safe and motivating environment.

    Relative to this policy, the school will conduct a half-day seminar for the faculty and staff regarding
    Child Protection on July 12, 2023, Nagyantok High School.
    VI. Objectives:

    The primordial objectives of this activity are the following:


    a. to raise awareness and educate teachers regarding DepEd Order no. 40 s. 2012 Child Protection
    Policy
    b. to empower teachers on how to deal learners with maltreated situation.
    c. to update teachers on DepEd Order No. 15, s. 2015 known as the DepEd Guidelines and
    procedures on the management of Children at-risk and Children in conflict with the Law (CICL)
