Exploring/Emerging (E) - a level of practice in which the teacher leader relies on ongoing
assistance from more experienced colleagues for support, guidance, and survival. The
teacher leader is moving toward becoming more self-directed and independent in her/his
practice.

Applying (A) - a level of practice in which the teacher leader is able to provide
independent leadership and easily applies what s/he has learned about leadership.

Integrating/Innovating (I) - a level of development in which the teacher leader is fully

Summary of Strengths and areas for growth

 Looking at this survey I am at the level of applying in my instruction. I have been teaching for
four years and I am constantly trying to add new material and strategies to engage my student
in their learning.
 I am always attending any kind of PD that is offered to me, to see what is the latest information
that is out there, to bring back to my classroom.
 Even though I feel like I am at a great place in my learning, I always seek new ways that I can
continue to improve my classroom and teaching ability to be the most effective teacher I can
be.
