a. Measures taken to identify the Agri Labour Demand and Supply issue

ANS: Recover the loans of landless workers, built houses for landless labourers,listen to
grieveances of farmers and approach government to seek for solutions.
b. What policy will you implement to limit exploitation of farm labourer by the farm owner

ANS: Food security policy, to get rid of poverty especially in rural areas.

c. What policy will you implement to make sure farm labourer works with best efficiency

ANS: As per the study, many of the forms wasted due to poor management so there is need for
planning and working rural infrastructure, electricity, health facility, labour management etc..

4) Do a short interview with nearby Garmernts / Industrial Worker about the Labour issue.. Ask

c. How many Farm Labourers are in India..?

6) Government is coming up with the policy to save exploitation of Farm Labourer but
introducing the Farm Machinery to make farm owner independent of the Farm Labourer

a. What is your perspective on this...?


ANS: This is a good initiative taken by the government to save exploitation farmers, but
introducing farm machinery is not a good decision as by this the farmers may face difficulties as
there wouldn’t be any work for them.

b. Is government creating more distance between the Farm Labourer and Owner…?? If so –
Why..?

ANS: Yes, because it creates un employment

c. Is government favouring only farm labourers on policies..??? If so – Why…?

ANS: NO,As there are still many policies which are benefit to farmers.

7) Government too have employees. If so Government becomes employer and the staff
becomes employee

11)If Agriculture is profitable then the Land Owner can pay a good amount of wages to the
labourer and give him all facilities that the industries can provide with. Labourer are now facing
issue as Farm Land Owner cannot make profit. Hence the reason for the issue of Labourer is the
Government and not the Land Owner

Ans:- Agriculture is undergoing a gradual shift from dependence on human powerand animal
power to mechanical power because increasing cost for upkeep of animal and growing scarcity
of human labour. Further, there is a more Investment in this service. Thus there is a large
investment ratio but still there is more requirement. So, Agriculture Department the
Government of Karnataka has decided to establish CHSC at hobli-level, with an objective to
assist the farmers to provide machineries at their door steps, This is considered as the success
and hence success ratio is more. Hence, they cannot fulfill the necessity since the requirement
will be more because it is in the doorsteps
