questions from section B, each question carries 20 marks

2. Study the table below and Answer the question that follows:

(a) Construct a divergent bar graph to represent the data.

(b) Comment on the trend of coffee production in Tanzania.

(c) Give an alternative method that can be used to show the above data.

(d) What are the merits and demerits of the method used.

3. A research scholar has to work as a judge and derive the truth and not as a leader who is only
eager to prove his case in favour of his plaintiff. Critically verify the above herein.

SECTION B (60 MARKS)


Answer three (3) questions from this section.
4. Form V students at Kisiwani secondary school were required to deliver a presentation before
their Geography teacher, having to explain on the plate tectonic movement. The teacher asked
them to discuss about four causes and four evidences of the event. What is the right explanation
they were likely to give in their presentation?

5. Surface of the earth is made up of various rock materials and their formation is said to be
endless. With well detailed information and diagram prove the above statement.

6. The advancement of desert in tropical Africa is not a natural calamity. In view of this statement
show how man has aided desertification in tropical Africa. Give six points.

7. Rivers always experience fluctuation of water depending on the seasons. As a Geographer,


identify the geographical term that is used to refer to the above action and describe six reasons
for its occurrence.
