ABSTRACT

This study delves into the online buying behavior and customer satisfaction of

3rdyear BTLED students at Salay Community College. Examining factors like product

availability, perceived usefulness, store competitiveness, website quality, and perceived

risk, the researchers employed a quantitative research design using general completion

sampling. Using a survey questionnaire adapted from Pandey et al. (2019), data from

110 respondents were collected and analyzed through Microsoft Excel. The study

emphasizes significant relationships between online buying behavior and customer

satisfaction, highlighting the impact of factors such as product availability, website

quality, store competitiveness, perceived usefulness, and perceived risks. The analysis,

employing descriptive statistics with a focus on weighted mean, verbal interpretation,

and standard deviation, utilized Pearson Correlation Coefficient (Pearson’s R).

Noteworthy recommendations include further research on demographic profiles and

improvements in online platforms for enhanced security, website quality, and product

offerings. The weighted mean underscores the importance of economic factors, refund

ease, and the convenience of online shopping. Addressing perceived risks, online

retailers are advised to prioritize secure payment systems, reliable product information,

and transparent refund policies to foster consumer trust and confidence.

Keywords: Online buying behavior, availability of products, perceived usefulness,

Store competitiveness , website quality and perceived risk
