IV. LEARNING ACTIVITIES 1. Introduction
A. Preparatory Activities Introducing the learning standards
1. How do we sit? Sit properly
2. How do we listen ? Listen attentively.
3.How do we participate? Participate actively.
4.When you are called to recite? Stand straight and speak
clearly.
Model the standards , and let the pupils repeat after the
teacher. Teacher may also teach an english song for rest exercises.

Words are formed by combining the letters of alphabet. It is


important to remember that the English alphabet is composed of
26 letters with 5 vowels and 21 consonants.

What is Rhyming Words?


 Words that have the same ending sounds re calles
Rhyming Words. These words are very common in songs,
poems, and nursery rhymes.

Read the examples of rhyming words.

4.Fixing Skills A. Direction: Site the rhyming words in the poem and let the pupils
read it.
