OFF GAS COMPRESSOR START-UP PROCEDURE

1 Ensure frame oil/lubricator oil level healthy from field

2 Ensure cooling water level in cooling water tank (L/H: 30% / 70%)
3 Ensure barring deveice position & Barring device lock and same to be ensure from DCS
4 Ensure Motor emergency stop from field & HWC are in released condition
5 Ensure nitrogen line up to the distance pice & maintained the pressure > 0.3 kg/cm2g
6 Ensure Main motor is energised condition
7 Carry out Motor purge with the help of instrument air
8 Ensure compreesor capacity control is selected in '0% (Zero)' load either in NORMAL/ALTERNATIVE case

9 Switch on the following Heater & maintained the temp:

A Heater on cooling water tank: ( L /H Temp: 54oC/66oC)
B Heater in crankcase/frame oil: ( L /H Temp: 45oC/63oC)
C Heater in lubricator

10 Start cooling water pump and maintained healthy pressure > 3.0 kg/cm2g and put standby pump in REMOTE
11 Start Auxiliary Oil pump (AOP) and maintained pressure > 1.7 kg/cm2g and put AOP in REMOTE
12 Start lubricator pump and maintained pressure > 4.0 kg/cm2g

13 Check parameters of following interlock are healthy, if healthy RESET the following interlocks from ESD

14 Check Compresoor start permissive page in DCS, all 36 condition are to be made healthy (ie. GREEN)
15 Check Ready to start page provided in DCS, condition to be made healthy (either CWP-A or CWP-B will be healthy)
16 After that, when field clearence is received then bypass the following interlock in ESD

17 Start-up Bypass facility is provided only for '5 (FIVE) min'

18 After presseing bypass button confirm from electrical SS that motor can be started
19 Then start the motor
20 Load the compressor from field within 20min to avoid '0 (ZERO) LOAD' tripping
AIR COMPRESSOR START-UP PROCEDURE
1 Ensure oil level healthy from field
2 Ensure cooling water is lined up
3 Ensure Motor emergency stop from field is in released condition
4 Ensure manual barring of compressor
5 Ensure Main motor/AOP is energised condition
6 Start the AOP and maintained pressure >1.8kg/cm2g
7 Ensure compressor discharge is lined up

6 Check parameters of following interlock are healthy, if healthy RESET the following interlocks from ESD

7 Start the compressor from field

8 @8.2 kg/cm2g compressor is going to be unloaded condition
9 @7.7 kg/cm2g compressor is going to be loading condition
10 In case compressor is running in unloaded condition >15 min compressor will trip
