A Reflection about “WORLD TOURISM DAY 2023”, Green Investment Workshop.

Theme:
“Tourism and Green Investment”

“Take nothing, but pictures. Leave nothing, but footprints. Kill nothing, but time. In essence,
this phrase, is the phrase where I witnessed during the celebration of “WORLD TOURISM DAY
2023”, Green Investment Workshop. With the theme of “Tourism and Green Investment. It's a
day to reflect on the cultural exchanges, economic opportunities, and shared experiences that
tourism fosters across the globe. The “WORLD TOURISM DAY”, is the day of encouragement,
unity, and promotes responsible and ethical behavior when enjoying the outdoors, encouraging
people to appreciate and protect the natural world for future generations. It aligns with
principles of conservation, environmental stewardship, and sustainable tourism.
As a financial management student, thinking of contribution for World Tourism Day, which
I can help to foster and promote sustainable tourism in our municipality and homeland by
preserving our cultural heritage and contributing clean and green activities which is a big help
to have a comfort zone and peaceful life. It’s a big impact to our society to celebrate this kind of
activity, to have education and awareness of proper waste segregation, and how to apply in our
selves the values and responsibility for the progressive and healthy environment.
Our land, is our place that needs cooperation for the successful mission of different
communities as we celebrate this day. Let's commit to promoting tourism that not only benefits
local communities and economies but also respects the environment and cultural heritage of
the destinations we visit. In doing so, we can ensure that the positive impact of tourism
continues to enrich lives and bridge cultures for generations to come.
Embracing the tourism and green investment can make a big change for us in the future
generation, which can build a concrete and fruitful environment and exploring the diversity of
green revolution and tourism development.
