Cambridge International is pleased to offer face to face Focus on Assessment, Focus on Progress and
Enrichment training workshops.

The workshops are for O Level Humanities, IGCSE™ Sciences, Primary Sciences & Languages and
Enrichment.

Our very able Pakistan team of trainers will be leading the training events while the UK examiner will
support a 90-minute segment on day 2.

Who are the courses for?


Focus on Assessment courses are designed for teachers
who have at least one year's experience of teaching the
Cambridge syllabus and/or have attended an Introduction
course, and who want to understand the assessment of a
syllabus in greater depth.

Focus on Progress courses are for teachers who want to


find out more about supporting learner progress in a specific
curriculum.

Enrichment courses are for subject teachers working with students at secondary or senior level who want
to develop their practice in this area. Heads of department or senior leaders who want to further their
understanding in this area.

Format
Two full-day face to face training sessions and 90 minutes online interaction with a UK examiner on day 2.

Outcomes will include:


• identify assessment challenges
• develop a deeper understanding of marking principles
• having the opportunity to apply the marking principles
• discussions on formative and summative assessment
• collaborate with other Cambridge International teachers
• consider how to respond to the outcomes from monitoring progress
• the key elements of theory and research on metacognition
• how to apply metacognition strategies to individual teaching contexts
• how to evaluate the impact of metacognition strategies in the classroom

• Early Bird Fee is PKR 22,680 per delegate
• Regular Fee is PKR 25,200 per delegate
Enrichment:
• Early Bird Fee is PKR 24,480 per delegate

Bookings may close 1 week before the start date. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Full venue and
workshop details will be sent out to all registered delegates before the training event. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. We reserve the
right to cancel the training in the event of an unforeseen situation; in such a case, delegate fee will be reimbursed. For more information please
