IMPORTANT: Your documents and payment must be received by Friday, March 1, 2024 at 23:59, in order
for your application to be processed by the College. Failure to submit your documents will result in signifi-
cant delays in responding to you and may also result in the cancellation of your application.

If applicable, documents submitted must be officially translated into English or French.

1. Birth Certificate / Status Documents

(a) A copy of your birth certificate, indicating parents’ names and accompanied by the official English
or French translation if applicable.
(b) A clear copy of BOTH SIDES of your Canadian Citizenship card/Canadian Citizenship certificate
(all pages) or a clear copy of BOTH SIDES of your Permanent Resident card or a clear copy of
your Permanent Resident/Immigration document (all pages).
(c) A copy of your Quebec Medicare card (RAMQ) or proof of health insurance.
2. Academic Documentation Required
(a) If you have completed or are in the process of completing your Quebec Secondary School Diploma
(DES, Diplôme d’études secondaires), you are NOT required to send your most recent Achievement
Record from the Quebec Ministry of Education - the College will retrieve your record directly
from the Ministry.
(b) You are currently enrolled in Secondary V (grade 11) courses in a Quebec school and your school
board has an agreement with Dawson College to transmit electronically your most recent Sec-
ondary V results. Therefore you are not required to send a copy of your school report cards.
3. Other Documents
(a) For students who have not been studying full time for one semester or more, it is
recommended to submit a letter of intent explaining why you interrupted your studies and
what has motivated you to apply to your chosen program. You may also include any support-
ing information to clarify your academic record (e.g. medical certificates, notes from guidance
counsellors or advisers, etc.).

If Applicable, Correction(s) To Bring To Your Application
If you notice that you have a correction to bring to your online application after it has been submitted, since
you will no longer be able to make changes online, you will have to contact the Admission office by email at
admissions@dawsoncollege.qc.ca with the details of the correction, or include a notice clearly indicating the
correction(s) to be made with your application documents.

Late Application
Fees payment received after Friday, March 1, 2024 at 23:59 will result in a late application. Late applications
will not be processed until all on-time applications have been considered. Please note that late applications
will be processed only if space in the program or in the College permits.

Fees For Non-Quebec Residents

You may be subject to additional non-Quebec-resident fees. If you are admitted, please check with the
Registrar Office to verify your status.
