Road-Lahore. Subject: REPLACEMENT OF ELECTRIC METER No. S 250610 AND CORRECTION OF ELECTRICITY BILL FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER-2011.

Reference: No. 18111411221301U; A/C No. 18114112213010 & Meter No. S-250610. It is submitted that the electricity bill for the month of September-2011 has been received on 08-10-2011. The present reading of the bill for the month of September has been shown as 4283 with a consumption of 648 units which being on the higher side than the normal mode of consumption was verified with the meter installed out side the main gate of the government residence No. 05/B of Forest Colony at 108 Ravi Road Lahore. The meter has shown the same reading i.e. 3635 as was depicted in the bill for the month of August as Present reading and even a single unit has not been shown consumed. It indicates that the meter under reference has gone out of order due to unknown reasons although externslly in contact as original. The official of your organization, who took the reading from the meter has intentionally concealed the facts that the meter reading is stopped at the reading of 3635. He has given an in-correct reading as 4283 with consumption of 648 units. He has not indicated the fact in the bill under subject that the meter is defective. He has also not indicated in the bill that the consumption is indicated on the bases of some sort of estimation. The undersigned has occupied the said residence w.e.f. 04-04-2011 with my set of electric hardware and the consumption of electricity since then is indicated as below. S. The request for correction of bill and replacement of defective meter was submitted to your subordinate office at Qila Muhammadi Sub Division but it was informed by the office bearer that the record of the office has been put to fire during recent egitation against load shedding and they are helpless to help me out. You are therefore requsted to kindly make necessary corrections in the bill under subject. You are further requested to replace the defective meter at the earliest to avoid any further inconveience.
