    1. Municipal Trial Court (MTC), Municipal First Level, Lower Court Cases wherein the penalty is less or does not
    Trial Court in Cities (MTCC), exceed 6years imprisonment and fines not
    Municipal Circuit Trial Court (MCTC) exceeding Php100,000.00.

    2. Regional Trial Court (RTC) Higher Court, Cases wherein the penalty exceeds 6years
    Court of Appeals (CA) Court of General Jurisdiction imprisonment and fines exceeding Php100,000.00
    and all cases decided by the lower courts.

    3. Supreme Court Highest Court, Court of last resort All cases decided by the higher courts, cases
    involving constitutionality of international laws,
    agreements, and treaties as well as all legislative
    measures and actions by the President.
